First Bid for 2.5* in Redondo beach area $45 second bid 2.5* added Santa Monica $50 third bid 2.5* added Lax Airport got the Embassy Suites North 3* for $50

Oh I'm still going to vegas but just not staying at the golden gate. I do occasionally gamble there but this is on my "NO WAY IN HECK" list for places to sleep. Yes the only 2 icons were restourant and casino and next time I will check here b4 buying blind....Thanks Much

Didn't find any info on this site as to what this 2* in DT Las Vegas could be with restourant and casino...so I took a chance on a last minute bid and got the Golden Gate on Freemont street. Not to happy but I understood going into it that it's the chance you take...O' Well, not going to use it (worst motel in vegas) but I learned a lesson so worth it I guess. Just thought i'd post so nobody else makes this mistake. 10/17/06 - 10/19/06

thanks for the reply....I would have guessed the Real Playa del Carmen too by looking at the VP's but I shot that down as it isn't beachfront or a resort....I'm kind of baffled really? If i had to take a guess i'd think it was the Oasis Viva Beach, just judging by the star rating and amenities, but wasn't really sure. I really don't have a lot of experience with opaque products as my industry discount usually beat's out the opaque prices with few exceptions..I'm tempted just to book it just to see what it is......lol If I do, I'll use the links here and post the outcome. Thank You for your reply, although I did not see it till today....I did not end up going to Aruba for this vacation....Honestly, I don't remember where i went instead (I think Vegas?) as I work for a major airline and travel extensively....I do remember thinking that this was the Holiday In Sunspree and that I have heard a lot of bad feedback from my co-workers on this perticular hotel....but for the price at that time I did consider it.... Can't figure out what this hotel could possibly be? Dates are July 3rd-6th Amenaties: Resort, Beachfront, Food and Beverages Included, A La Carte Dining, Water Sports/Activities Included, Evening Entertainment Included, Daily Activities Included, Children's Activity Program, Pool(s), Tennis Nearby, Spa Services thinking about a quick trip for the 4th and at $117 a night for 2 adults it's a steal for an AI but the 2 1/2 stars makes me a bit nervous......... Any Ideas Anyone? Thanks In advance

This is my first actual post, although I've been lurking around for awhile. I think this board is so wonderful. With that said, I am trying to figure out which hotel this could be. 3* in Aruba for May 15th -18th. List of amenaties = All Inclusive, Resort, Food and Beverages Included, Daily Activities Included, Fitness Center, Casino, High-speed Internet Access, Complimentary Breakfast, Beachfront, Evening Entertainment Included, Pool(s), Children's Activity Program, Tennis Nearby, Restaurant(s)... Price per night = $214 for 2 adults and 2 children (this is what has me nervous, Very Cheap to include 4 ppl) :) I think it's the Holiday Inn....Got anyother Suggestions? Thanks, Family Traveler :) :o
