My wife and another couple will be attending a conference at the Waldorf astoria and we are looking for a hotel around this hotel that is a bit more affordable but preferably 4 star or better. The wives plan to make a few trips (one of them being a watching Lion King). I am torn on hotwire or priceline. I plan to use the links from this forum. Any generalized suggestions before I get started? I am assuming Midtown East is where I need to be staying? However, given our wives are not attending the conference and exploring the city...is midtown east just as safe as midtown central. Any advice appreciated on safety and on picking the best bang for buck 4 star or better hotel! Thanks! Jutjut
