I have used Priceline to bid on hotel rooms lots of times, but not rental cars. We are riding the train into SLO and want to rent a car to drive up to SF. We will be returning it back at SLO. We are a family of 4, so I am looking at a full size car, but don't know what a good starting bid would be. Best price on hotel website was $142. Got it on first bid. Hotwire had 3* in same area for $47 up until yesterday. Used Saving Barn link. Tracey
