I have been trying for the past week using PRICELINE link. Started from $95 going up to $140.00 for 4 star but no success. Max for 4 star is $150.00 Also tried 3 star starting from $70 going up to $95. Max for 3star would be $100.00. Am I bidding too low? I also tried changing the date to check in on 7/15, but no success. BTW I also tried Hotwire (using link) hoping to get Residence Inn but property not available for the dates above.Tks for your assistance.

I know that there is a 3 re-bid zones for 4* Downtown Vancouver. However, I am unable to get any 4* rooms after bidding up to $135/- for June 16 to 20. Can you advise a 3* strategy for downtown Vancouver? I am willing to go up to $100/- as I see some winning bids at $81/-. Many thanks.

I am a tiny bit worried about Plaza 500 as it didnt have too good reviews at TA. Perhaps I will wait out awhile and try my luck on Priceline. Many thnaks again

I need to priceline for 1 room at Vancouver Airport 3 star hotel checking in June 7 for just one night. It may be difficult to manouvere around the zones as there are 3 star for all other zones and I need to stay at the airport. Is there a strategy to this. Thanks

I need to priceline Vancouver YVR Apt 3 star for 1 night - check in July 22 for 1 person. The problem is I cannot choose any other zones because I only want to stay at the airport as I am taking an early morning flight on 23rd. I keep getting request to add zones - my last offer was for $80 and was counteroffered to make a bid for additional $22/-. I am only willing to go up to 90? Any idea what to do? Or should I make a lower bid for the 2.5 star?

Okay finally got the hang of it after making somewhat of a boo-boo for my SFO bid at The Galleria. Here it goes for my Seattle bid on Priceline. Bid 4* downtown Seattle $90.00 - Rejected Up $95.00 - Rejected Add Lake Union - Rejected Up $100.00 - Rejected Add Lynwood North & up $105.00 Accepted 4* $105.00 - Sheraton for 2 nites check in 8/2 and out 8/4/06 I think I got it sort of right this time as Hotwire was selling this for $145.00! Bid $95/- for 3star downtown - Check in 08/2 and out 08/4 Rejected Priceline countered offered $22 However I've got Mediterranean Inn on AAA rate of 109 and do not want to run the risk of paying $117 (95+22) for Med Inn as this is listed under Priceline 3 star property. Help please

Totally new at this game so went in with fingers crossed. Started off at 65 for 3star at union square and bid accepted at US89 for Galleria Park checking in 7/28 and out 8/2/06. So is this good. Desperately need advice since I need to bid for downtown Seattle hotel checking in 8/2 and out on 8/4. Help!
