I plan to book one night in Chicago using PRICELINE EXPRESS deals. I can't commit 100% to a second night right now. Not wanting to switch hotels while we are there, does PRICELINE EXPRESS deals ever offer add on dates after initial purchase? I remember in the past one of the sites would offer additional nights if available. Thank you!

I booked the Marriott Residence Inn for a great rate directly on the Marriott site. It beat all other Hotwire options/prices so it worked out. Because I booked directly I wasn't able to use the BB links........sorry :).

I'm looking on Hotwire for a hotel in Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Beach. Through my 'digging around' on BB it appears that the Crowne Plaza is potentially listed as a 4 star. However, when I go back to Hotwire and price it as a vacation with flight included, it gives me the Crowne Plaza as a 3.5 star. Could this be?

Thanks Aaron! I think I may book at a discount site (Expedia etc.) this time. I see a good deal for the Sheraton at $104 and that would guarantee me the pool which is essential in this climate right now! :) Or I may go HOTWIRE with the Campus 4 star hotels and just cab it up to the fun stuff! I just wish I knew if that 3.5 star mag/streeterville was the holiday inn (mart) or Doubletree! If I go with HOTWIRE, I'll use the links ! Thanks!

Pool, Rest, Business, High Speed April 1-3 I was thinking of the Holiday Inn Merch Mart which I've won before.... Also a little worried about getting a seasonal pool and having nothing for the kids to do! Also, Aaron, have you seen Sheraton Towers come up lately? Thanks so much! OH YIKES...I just noticed the Doubletree Mag Mile has a pool....OUTSIDE. That could be a bad thing.

For what it's worth (any lookers in the future)....this same combination is also for the Sheraton Northwest in Arlington Heights too. I just booked it last week and I expected the Sheraton Suites Elk Grove Village as I win that every couple months. When I won and saw Sheraton I immediatley thought it was my usual but it was actually Sheraton Northwest. I was bummed to find out that their pool is under renovation until January. On the flip side of that coin, there is a Coco Key Waterpark at the property and they offered me discounted tickets. So....it's good and bad. Had I not paid much attention, I would have driven to the wrong place! Aaron, I see you mentioned this is a boutique hotel.... wouldn't it show a B in the amenities? I'd like to bid on this hotel but not if it's a boutique.

I live in the suburbs and am always taking the kids on one night trips to the city. I think you will be hard pressed to find a 4 star for $65. I would expect more in the range of $90-110 - especially since it's the weekend and it is also Venetian night on the lake. It will be PACKED. Depending on where your friend is coming from, I would tell her to park 'out' and take the Metra from the suburbs. Totally safe and $5 all weekend - unlimited. DO please post what you win...I'll be anxious to know!

I do a lot of bidding on both Hotwire and Priceline and am familiar with both for the most part. I recently booked 2 nights in Hilton Head. I needed another two nights so after having not bid in a month or two...I figure I better get booking. In the mean time, I found a charge on my credit card...I called customer service and they tell me it was for a stay in Hilton Head on May 27th. I live in Chicago and am not traveling until July! WHAT???? I open the account they tell me it was booked under and there is only ONE transaction in my trip history. It's the bid that I 'attempted' to win but was declined. Nothing else shows up but she gives me a booking number and says it was done and charged....sorry. I know mistakes can happen, but I TRULY believe something is fishy about this.....I have no recollection of making the bid for May (when I had no intention of going in May) and secondly....it doesn't even come up in my 'history' of attempts and purchases. ????? The C/S rep told me there was nothing she could do...since it's under my husbands account I needed to talk to him and ask if he was there on that day. (insinuating something not good). It's my husbands account but is handled by me as he has no interest in PRICELINE or HOTWIRE...I do the travel booking. Am I SOL or does this happen more often than not? I feel like it was done ' inadvertently' as a scam. Thanks....totally bummed that I paid $107 for a hotel visit I had no clue about!

That is my best guess too...I book this one all the time! It's a great hotel and worth way more than the $44 bid! In fact, I just won it again!

We stayed here in March of 2009 and have several times before. The hotel is very nice, clean, and modern. There is an indoor pool area with a hot tub and comfy lounge chairs. There is also a nice outdoor pool but I have yet to go during the appropriate season. They are a pet friendly hotel (up to 75 pounds) and we actually took our chocolate lab with us. They were very accommodating. Great safe area in close proximity to Woodfield Mall and plenty (did I say PLENTY) of shopping and dining choices. IKEA and the like. Great rates on HOTWIRE usually....I believe our last stay was in the $35 range!! Simply unbeatable!

Thereuare- this post was ended and I started a new topic with a totally different win (they've been combined somehow) The amenities at the top of the post do not go with the Marriott HHI Resort that I won. I'm afraid it might confuse people...

Holy cow....a link popped up on PRICELINE page that said someone just won a SC Resort for $80....try now! So I did and woops....I WON! 7-27-09 through 7-29-09 with the option to add nights. I haven't even told my husband yet! YIKES! Oh well....it's a fantastic deal! Booked thru your PRICELINE link too!

I don't think I will pursue this....I think I'll go look at Hilton Head where I can get a resort. THANKS and YES...I'll book through your PRICELINE or HOTWIRE link when I finally do!
