This is my first post. I get so much useful information from this site that I feel it's only fair for me to begin sharing my wins. I just got the 4 star Renaissance Asheville for $200 per night. The room is for tomorrow night and Saturday night, so a last minute booking in the height of Asheville's tourist season. The advertised rates were around $300 per night. Initially I bid $200 for the 4.5 star, which was rejected and then immediately rebid with the Same $, but changed star level. The hotel looks great and is right downtown, walking distance to everything I like. Thanks Better Bidding and Priceline, always a joy to use.

Got $15 per day plus fees on my first try. They gave me a Volkswagen Passat, nice..enjoyed driving something different from Taurus or Impala.
