This same issue has been occurring for the past few days as well. I just tried again and the Hotwire Research isn't responsive. It just constantly spins at "Retrieving Hotel Details".

Awesome, thanks for the prompt reply. I noticed on the Bidding Helper tool when you click book it says, "Book soon! The last person got the Dauphine Orleans Hotel." Not sure if that makes a difference. I'd be fine with either the Dauphine or Maison.

I would pay about $160 a night if it were the Four Points. That's what I paid this year and last for the Four Points during the same weekend.

Yeah, still looking for the Four Points but wanted to see what the two above were in the event they may be comparable hotels with a good location. Or if they were the same ones, just at a different price, that were in the beginning of the thread.

Nm, I think I read it wrong. Your guess was for the Sheraton on Canal, not the Four Points Sheraton. Right?

I don't mean to hijack this thread but is the Four Points Sheraton now a 4 star instead of a 3 star? I see your post from July 1st (copy and pasted below).

Oh ok, I see. Yeah, I was really hoping to find the Four Points Sheraton as an option. I had good look getting it with your help for a stay in March and also for a stay in June. The location is superb. The Hotel St. Marie is right there too and is one of the options but since Ive stayed at the Four Points before, I know what I'm getting. Since my stay would be in next March, I have plenty of time to wait and see if the Four Points pops up as an option but then there's always the chance it doesn't and/or rates in general go up for the hotels that are available.

Do you happen to know how often different hotels "cycle" through Hotwire? I know a lot of times I see what would be, yall have confirmed and have been successful after my purchases, the Four Points Sheraton, Best Western Plus, etc. Or is it once these particular hotels sell out, new ones come in? How does it work exactly? Not sure if you know or not, just thought I'd ask. Didn't know if there was like a rotation or certain day of the week I should be checking to see different hotels popping up.

Actually, it looks like user "brumfld" posted something very similar the other day with the same amenities and it was suggested to be the Crowne Plaza. Would this be correct in my situation as well? They look very similar.

Just booked and it was the Four Points Sheraton!

I was about to book with HOTWIRE since it is showing the same price and amenities as yesterday but when I click it, it says, "Book soon! The last person got the Best Western Plus French Quarter Landmark Hotel." Does it look like it may be the Best Western now? I'd much rather have the Sheraton then the Best Western.

Yes, using the bidding helper tool I do show more then what was listed on the regular Hotwire page. Using the bidding tool, I show everything you listed above. So that's a good match for the Four Points huh? *Fingers crossed* I'll let you know shortly.
