Date Aug 11-12 (one night) 4* Orlando Airport $51 Shuttle, Fitness, Pool, Business, HiSpeed Internet Trying to plan a budget trip to orlando, My daughter and I plan to drive, but my wife thinks trip is too far (back issues) and wants to fly. Hoping this is a reasonable match for the Hyatt inside the airport, since my wife would arrive earlier than I (but late on the 11th). If this is the hotel inside the airport, I will proceed to book. Hope this is not considered off-topic, but I have suddenly seen this hotel appear as well (in the last 24 hours) for a trip I have been checking daily - Jan 14-15. When you go to "see all amenities" the additional amenity not shown is "GOLF NEARBY. Interesting because for the one night it is only$17 and if you another night it is only$25. It disappears if I add a third night, but at that rate I'd move for the last night. But have no idea what this hotel is - never seen it before.

based on the addition of children's activities, the closest I see is maybe the Holiday main Gate (but the list shows Childrens Activities marked through. (BUT that is combining Vacation and Hotel product icons, and I know that adds risk to the calculation) $29 would be a good deal for this hotel (they do add a 'resort' fee, which is a real strech at this hotel), but I stayed there in Jan 08 and do not remember seeing any Children's Activities offered. But even with the fee, its been recently updated and a very good deal at this price if it is indeed what this hotel is. In Jan I paid $43 night on priceline (I can't remember if the resort fee is $5 or $10)

I did the search with the default of two adults and I 'think' the same hotel has popped up with not as many icons $29 night but only nosmoking, pool, restaurant, business center, hi speed internet

Very nice stay, the interior atrium of the hotel was beautiful! Rooms a little small, but clean, and the view from the room more than made up for deficiences. Waking up to the sounds of the waterfalls in the atrium was very relaxing. Dining pricey, but they seem to be trying to balance that with a couple of newly opened mid-range options. But less expensive options reside across the street and in the mall located behind the hotel. A bit dissappointed by the resort fee (which does NOT include parking). Would really be disturbing to me if I didn't get such a great rate through hotwire! Expect to pay $37 per night on top of your hotwire rate if parking also applies to you. Parking is $16 plus 10% taxes per day and Resort fee is $15 plus 10% taxes per day. Resort Fee includes shuttles to the Mall, Gen Jackson Showboat, and Grand Ole Opry next door (you could probably walk it faster), in room internet access, 20 minutes local calls a day and TWO bottles of water.

Just returned from trip. Will avoid bidding 3* in Opryland Area as long as this is a 3* option in this area. Will post a review.

3 star WDW area $42 (starting at $39 and going up $1 each time with free rebids) flatly denied with no counter at $41 and added rebid and only went up $1 and accepted Property can be booked through their site for an average of $63 a night during the dates of my stay ($59 weekday, $69 fri/sat). Seems to be the 3star of choice for Priceline during this time frame (a number of winners in the $40 range) Holiday Inn Main Gate East 01/17/08-01/22/08 This is a rebranded Travelodge which has an upgraded star level because of refirbishment. The rooms look nice on their site and since this is a recent refirb, hope they are fairly accurate. I will post a review upon our return. No onsite Diney value lodging (Pop/All Stars), or Port Orleans, nor very good deals on Resorts during this stay (spending $25+ a day extra on resort fees is not in the cards for this trip).
