Purchased Best Western Palm Court Inn off of Express Deal Option. Hotel was 2 1/2* for Sat 7/27/13 and was listed for $58 , had 8 rating and was a "guest favorite." Listed were free breakfast, swimming, free wifi, restaurant, office area, fitness area and free parking.

Winning bid of $55 for 2 1/2* hotel on Friday night 7/25-7/26/13. Ended up with Fairfield Inn and Suites Modesto. (My hotel was booked on the wednesday prior to upcoming wknd. Attempted booking Sat. night at the same price the following Thurs (priceline now gives this option) and was not accepted. Fairfield was no longer coming up on the normal purchase page of PL which led me to believe it was booked up. Noted that prices on Express Deal had reduced special prices from the prior day (2 1/2* had been in $70 range Wed and were in low $50s on Thurs - for the coming weekend)

Won Fairfield Inn for $53 (plus "SUMMER" promo code offers addl. 5% off right now). Entered 2.5* Visalia area hotel for winning $53 bid for 7/13/13-7/14/13. Had attempted $48 earlier in evening unsuccessfully.
