I originally bid for a 1 star hotel for $35 and was denied, but it came back & said for add'l $6 they could find something. So I went ahead & bid the $41, & it was accepted and I was upgraded to a 2.5 star Hampton Inn (53.72 after tax). Was pleasantly with pool, breakfast and a business room to print tickets for the local Elitch Gardens at a guest rate discount of $27.99 each. Star ratings around here were different than what I was looking for. I had put several other bids in for 2 and 2.5 star hotels that wasn't accepted, but I didn't want to get stuck paying $70+ plus parking at a more inconvenient location.
