  1. I set it up for 1 night, 8/30, after being accepted, and seeing which hotel, I opted for the add a night, which was also accepted. My only concern now is something I learned after the fact. Since it's 2 conformations, I may have to check out at 12pm on the 31st, and then re-check in at 3pm. That would SUCK, for my wife and I on an anniversery trip. Wish us Luck! I think were going to need it!
  2. I just used the Add a nite feature, but the hotel could not guarantee that i will not have to check out at 11am and check back in at 4pm. They said to check with the front desk when I check in. Thats scary! Will see what happens, going to the Sheraton Manhattan Hotel in New York.
  3. Ok, just booked my hotel First try was MTS 4* 135 rejected Next added MTE and MTW 4* for $135 rejected changed star rating to 3* for $140 Accepted At Sheraton Manhattan MTW (I think MTW) Very Happy after seeing many people going up to $200 with no luck!

  5. I have 1 more question. Since my travel time is flexible, would it be cheaper for Tues-Wed or Friday-Saturday. looking to stay 2 nights, but also right on top of Labor day weekend. Any tips here would be helpful. thanks
  6. Hello, looking to book room for 8/29 and 8/30, close to "The Majestic" on 44th. Should I start my pricing at $115, and go up, or are the prices higher for this week? Don't mind going up to $170.00 for nice 4*. Also, if anyone is going to NY to see something on Broadway, use Broadwaybox.com. Great discount tickets.
  7. sorry thereuare. won't happen again. ken

  9. Used priceline several times in past, now looking to plan a vacation, for family of 3. Wondering when should I do my booking on priceline? also looking for 4*, on North Michagan Ave. Area, what price should I start at? thanks for any and all help. Ken
  10. Just back from my trip to D.C. Let me say, that the Capitol Hilton, was Perfect. from the Valet parking ($28) to the Bell Captain, to check in, everything was great. The room was good also. Got the room right next to the elevators, and according to the emergency exit card on the back of our door, we had the smallest room. (this is the second time this has happened, strarting to wonder if it because of priceline), although their smallest room was pretty big. King size bed, white down comforter, plenty of pillows, and very comfortable. $85.00 was my first bid, and accepted bid. Not sure if that would be accepted for the summer months, but I plan on trying. THanks again to BetterBidding! this site is the best! Ken
