Sry I don't now the amenities because I never really looked at them. It was a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal with room choice and you could see the names of the room types and these only fit for the TI.

I now booked the LVH from the 14th to 15th for 46EUR. Everything else was to expensive and or to far of the strip. At least here I have some options to get there pretty quick. I also booked the TI via PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for 66$ per night. From the 15th till 19th (I choose the Express, bc I didn't want to risk to get an other 4* hotel where the resort fee is mandatory) From the 19th to 20th I booked the golden nugget also via PRICELINE for 48.30$ (But not as express deal or bidding, I have free cancellation for this offer so i might try getting a better deal via bidding later, so far my bids got rejected) Btw you can also read the response from TI on their official FB website

Ok looks like that I cant edit my post anymore because its to old already. So sorry for the double post. But look what I found here is the source tripadvisor I can also confirm that the resort fee gets displayed from Priceline if you book the TI exectly via ListView

Ok I just wrote priceline an email. Because it looks like you can only call the hotline if you already booked the hotel. I will share the responds from them with you. edit: I just called TI and they say its always mandatory also when booking via Price line. So lets just wait what priceline has to say ;)

I was just wondering if the Resort Fee is Mandatory at Treasure Island when booking via Priceline, because I found the hotel from the 15th till 19th as a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal. But it does not list the resort fee if I press choose. At other Hotels and offers the resort fee always gets listed under mandatory fees.

Ok, I did some more digging What do you guys think about that 14-15th the LVH for 46 € = 60.86$ + $18Resort fee = 78.86$ (Is the Resort fee charge per day or per night?) 15th till 19th the quad 162€ = 214$ + 4*10$ Resort fee= 254$ 19th till 20th golden nugget = 42,46€ = 56.18$ total = 389$ = 294.01€ All the bookings are without priceline or hotwire, bc it looks like it will be cheaper that way. I know the LVH is kind of, of strip do you know how good the bus connection is from there. I know there is the one railway, but we have to get a buss ticket to get there from the airport anyways.

Ok i will check out the downtown option too. I should have booked the quad when I had the change, but when I found it, I did not know that the deal was that good. Do you think I should book something now or wait and hope for an other good deal? Yeah the 82 would be with all fees and taxes. The deal at the quad which I missed was also with all fees and taxes

I clicked both of them before, I even booked the last hotel in New York via the HOTWIRE link.

I read a couple of times that the las vegas Hotel market is different than others. Do you guys think I should book soon or wait and hope for a deal. Will be there from the 14th til 20th. I am planning on staying on or pretty close to the strip walking distance from the 14th till the 19th and stay the night from the 19th to 20th on fremont street.

Are there even any 4* plus hotels beyond this point? The highest i found beyond was Circus Circus and it has only 3 1/2

Hey, I have just a short question about the Las Vegas Strip North Region in priceline. I saw that this area is quiet big. (In my opinion it goes way to far behind the Strip) I also checked out the priceline Hotel list and it looks like if you bit for a 4 Star and plus Hotel you wouldnt get any hotel that is behind the Encore? Is this true? Because anything behind that is kind of far away from the action or did so much change in Vegas during the last 1 and a half years. That was my last stay there and I had the impression that behind the Encore the strip is kind of over. I know there is still Circus Circus but that place is kind of dead.

Ok, I did not have any luck with Priceline. So now I booked the Hotel via Hotwire. I got the Red Roof Long Island City. hotel map As comparison the Expedia price was $142

My maximum bid would be the hotwire price so 85$. My possible zones are: Long Island City Central Park South Chelsea Area Downtown - Financial District Empire State Building Area Hell's Kitchen Lower East Side Madison Square Garden - Convention Area Midtown East Midtown West SoHo - Tribeca Times Square - Theatre District Upper East Side Upper West Side

I think I should have enough bidding zones available, bc Long island city is one of the cheapest regions anyways and if I would get by some wonder a hotel in Manhattan its fine by me ;) Can you maybe give me some bidding advice. I also saw that the avarge price in priceline for an 2.5 star hotel is from Sat., Sep 7 - Sun., Sep 8 190$ and from Sun., Sep 8 - Fri., Sep 13 169$ So should I maybe Split my bidding? Or is it probably not worth it?

Yeah sry I mean Long island City In hotwire the cheapest rate is for a two and a half star hotel for 85$, for Manhatten and Lower Manhatten so all areas between the rivers I get as cheapest option 160$ Sownton SoHo or Madison square 202$

Hi, we looked a little more at the Hotel prices and saw that we could stay in Long island via HOTWIRE for under 100$ per night. I know its not exactly in the center where we originally wanted to go, but its like at least 40$ cheaper per day. How good is the public transportation from there to the rest of new York. (Expectantly at Night) Or would we miss out something if we don't stay directly in the center? How good is the night life directly in Long island?

Hi, thanks for the links now me and my friend have some more reading to do ;) One club that I saw before where we would like to go is the pachanyc I will definitely check out the link you gave me, but for now I will go to bed its 4am in Germany. For further tips we are 23 and 25. Depart NEW YORK LAGUARDIA (LGA) on Southwest Airlines at 06:55 AM It departs there at 6:55 so we probably will be at the airport by 6. We extra choose the flight at 6:55 am and not at 11 or 12 so that we can skip the night. I did the same thing the last time I flew to the US. I was out until 5am and than just grabbed my bags and flew from Frankfurt to Chicago ;)

2-3* would be enough. Like I said we only need place to crash so nothing fancy the cheaper the better, but also no one star hole ;) I know New York is expensive at this time I know there are different prices in different areas in New York, but I dont know so much about the city I have a travel guide here but I am hopping for some inside tips. We wouldn't mind taking the subway (we are think about buying a week pass or so anyways) or a longer walk during the day to the classic tourist attractions an more important part for us would be the nightlife. So which areas do you think would be best for us? It also would be enough for a start to just list the ares with the best night life or if you think we should switch hotels and go to different areas than which ones. (I don't need exact prices or so from you just a hint in the right direction than I will also do more research myself) I just don't want to end up somewhere in a cheap hotel and than have problems with crime in the area or stuff like that Or if you have a link with the different areas in New York with pro and cons or something like that would be cool too.

Hey Me and a Friend of mine planning a trip through the USA for a couple of weeks. (New York, Las Vegas, San Diego, Tijuana, Los Angeles, San Fransisco and than back to Frankfurt) And our start will be in New York on September 7th till September 14th. But we will leave on the 14th for Vegas at 7am. So we don't need a hotel from the 13th to 14th we will just stay awake ;) (and can hopefully still leave our luggage at the hotel if not we will figure something out ) So we gone need a place to stay from the 7th till the 13th in New York. We are both students and we don't plan on spending a lot of time at the hotel. (So a basic one will do) What would be the cheapest option for us? Using Hotwire or priceline? Should we book now or shortly before the trip? Should we book the hole time at one hotel or switch hotels? We are also planing on going out every night so in what area is the best nightlife? Where were thinking it would be best to stay some where between the two rivers. We dont want to walk through half the city to get back to the hotel after a night out. I know this is the New York part of the forum so just in general is it better to book the Hotels in the other locations now or just a day before or so? (I dont want to start a new thread in all the areas, so a short answer here will be enough. I was in Vegas already once for a week and I have a friend in Los Angeles so New York is really the city I kind of know nothing about) Thx for your help in advance we are open for all tips and suggestions
