Well, I tried my luck in Regents Park and got this: 4* London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale Summary of Charges Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $62.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Guests Per Room: 2 Number of Nights: 4 Room Subtotal: $248.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $59.52 (USD) Total Charged to Card: $307.52 (USD) Not the best neighborhood, but close (5 mins) to Kilburn Park of the Bakerloo Line. I hope that this is some nice deal - was my first booking and I'm a bit unsure something went wrong. Used the PRICELINE links from the welcome message. Thanks for this board!!

Well, topic title says it all. I'm looking for a few days in September. Wednesday to Sunday. 4* should be enough. It would be great so find a good deal in the central area (Soho/Westminster/City). Maybe Notting Hill and Regents Park, if there is no success in the other three areas. Is it too early to find a nice deal? I thought about a price of $80, maybe less if possible. Many here got deals between $65-$82. Last night I tried my luck, but was not successful. Could you give me a good bidding strategy? Or some hints for better timing? Thanks in advance!
