  1. Hi! Done. I actually reported my win, but did it in a new thread instead of using that one. Sorry about that. I should've probably mentioned that the search on those dates is for 3 adults and 1 child age 2. That will bring you the result price I'm mentioning. Thanks!!
  2. Hi! I sorry, I actually reported the win for this hotel in another thread, I forgot I have opened this one. I'm going to repeat the data: I end up getting the Element Miami Doral Check-in Fri, Mar 09 - 03:00pm Check-out Sun, Mar 11 - 01:00pm Amenities: Free breakfast, Free parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Airport shuttle, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Kitchenette Price: $262.00 ($131.00 per night x 2 nights x 1 room) Thanks!
  3. Hi guys! I need help guessing a hotel on HOTWIRE. Date is June 3 to June 4. Miami - South Beach - Oceanfront Collins area U$S167 /night, 4 star hotel Boutique, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Spa, Childrens Activities Charges U$S34 a night in resort fees (2000+ reviews) in Tripadvisor BiddingHelper.com is telling me it might be the Nautilus. I think so too because it's the only one in the list with Children Activities, but what makes me wonder is the fact that it doesn't have "beachfront" as one of the amenities listed. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
  4. Hi guys! this one is from last month. I got the Element Miami Doral. Very nice property. Here are the amenities that hint me it might be the Element or the Staybridge: Free breakfast, Free parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Airport shuttle, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Kitchenette Thanks as usual for all your help!
  5. Hey, just added those missing amenities on the thread. BTW, is not that it has to be closed specifically on friday, I was saying that in the sense that I would like to have my hotel booked before the end of the week
  6. Hi, sorry for missing this. Here are these details from my Hotwire account: Amenities: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access Accessibility: Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower
  7. Ok guys, back to hotel hunting! My idea would be to close the deal by friday. The dates are June 12 to June 16. The area I'm interested in is Miami South Beach - Collins Oceanfront. I'm looking for a beachfront hotel, 4* I can see three good offers in Hotwire now, and would appreciate your opinions on which Hotels these might be: 4* Hotel, $108/night Full Amenities (bidding helper easy view) Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Beachfront hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services This hotel charges a resort fee of about $30.00 per room per night Trip Advisor 4.5 out of 5.0 Hotwire customer reviews 85%recommended(78 total reviews) 4* Hotel, $116/night Full Amenities (bidding helper easy view) Resort, Pet friendly, Beachfront hotel, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Children's activities, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower This hotel charges a resort fee of about $30.00 per room per night Trip Advisor 3 out of 5.0 4.5* Hotel, $126/night Full Amenities (bidding helper easy view) Free Internet, Pet friendly, Beachfront hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower This hotel charges a resort fee of about $19.00 per room per night Trip Advisor 4.5 out of 5.0 Hotwire customer reviews 95%recommended(49 total reviews) I'll start checking the hotel list to try to guess and also the Resort Fees. Thanks guys!
  8. Sorry guys, something came up and couldn't go throught with the deal. I will be resuming search for hotel next week and keep sharing. Please keep this thread open, thanks!
  9. Hey, that was a 2014 thread. I didn't even realized I haven't provided a follow up there. I've just added the details of how that trip ended up. Sorry for dropping the ball.
  10. Hi guys, I ended up in getting a deal in Hotwire: Holiday Inn Express West Los Angeles $134.00/night Check-in Sat, Apr 19, 2014, 3:00 PM Check-out Tue, Apr 22, 2014, 12:00 PM Thanks for all your help!
  11. Hi everyone! I'm getting a very interesting option for June 12 to 16 in Miami. 4-star Hotel in South Beach - Oceanfront Collins area Complimentary Free Internet Amenities: Boutique hotel, Children's activities Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Smoke-free rooms Spa services Amenities from Hotwire Easy View: Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Internet access, Spa services, Children's activities Another thing to consider is that it charges a resort fee of USD28.50 per room per night Tripadvisor Rating is: 4.5 out of 5 (1001 - 1500 reviews) Hotwire guest rating 9 out of 10 (58 total reviews) Given all, I'm guessing the Sagamore, but I'm not entirely sure. I think it is because Sagamore charges exactly 28.50 as a resort fee, and shares some of the listed amenities, but I couldn't find in the hotel list one with "Children activities" and I'm not sure the Sagamore has any... Plus, Sagamore has 4.0 out of five in Tripadvisore, not 5.... Any help would be appreciated! Of course I have used the links provided here to make all my research and will use it to end up buying. Many thanks!!
  12. Hi guys! Still trying to get a good deal...waiting a little to see if prices drop. I bid up to 120 for a 3* in Beverly Hills/Hollywood/Santa Monica areas in Priceline but had no luck. Cheking on biddinghelper.com, on the Hotwire easy view tab I saw a new Hollywood area offer and I need help to Id it. Dates are still the same (Apr. 19 to 22) 3*, Hollywood area FULL AMENITIES: Free Parking, Free Internet, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower I checked the hotel list, but there are no 3* hotels with Free Parking listed for Hollywood. Also, it says "Still gathering reviews" on the normal Hotwire page and it shows a TripAdvisor score of 3.5 out of 5. Any hints?
  13. Hi guys! I decided to wait a bit and now I'm checking hotels agains. I'm seeing 2 hotels now for the Beverly Hills area, both 3* and both pet friendly....which makes them hard to ID since there's no Pet Friendly 3* hotel for that area in the Hotel List. Here's the info: Dates Apr. 19 to Apr. 15, 2 rooms, 4 adults. Beverly Hills - West Hollywood area Hotel #1: 3*, $115/night, FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Handicapped parking It also says "Hot Rate Boutique Hotel", 3,5 out of 5 in TripAdvisor, and that the last person got "The Standard Hollywood"...so it might be that one. Hotel #2: 3*, $120/night, FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Boutique Hotel, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Business Center, Internet access, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking 60% recommended by hotwire, 3,5 out of 5 in TripAdvisor. No idea which one this could be. Century City - Westwood Area I'm checking a 3* Hotel in both Hotwire easy view (from bidding helper) and the normal Hot.wire page and I'm getting different amenities for the same hotel. On BiddingHelper.com: 3*, $135/night FULL AMENITIES: Free Breakfast, Free Internet, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower Checking on the Hotel List, it's seems to be Holiday Inn Express West Los Angeles On Hot.wire normal page: (It's suppose to be the same hotel as above) 3*, $132/night Amenities: Free Internet, In-Room accessibility, Accessible Bathroom. 75% recommended in Hotwire, last person got "L.A. Sky Boutique Hotel" As you can see, this one does not include free breakfast...or any of the amenities listed in BiddingHelper.com! Why is that? Thanks for your input!
  14. Hi! Absolutely. Again, it's listed as a 3*. The amenities were: Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access, Hope it helps!
  15. I'm sorry but I'm not seeing the $125/night hotel you are telling me. Is that in Hotwire for the dates I passed? (Apr 19 to Apr 22). Or is it maybe in Priceline Express? Thanks again!
  16. Hi guys! I'm checkin Los Angeles area and I need help to ID an hotel. This is the info: Beverly Hills - West Hollywood Area Apr. 19 to Apr. 22 3 Stars $108.00 per night Full amenities from BiddingHelper.com: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Handicapped parking I checked in the Hotel List for it, but no hotel has "Pet Friendly" listed. Maybe you can give me a hint? Thanks!
  17. Hi guys! The Ayres was actually shown as a 3* hotel. My win was from Apr. 16 to Apr. 19. I got it for $80 per night. I will open a new thread for my other LA hotel now. Thanks!
  18. Hi guys! I already got mi disney hotel. It's the Ayres Hotel. I will report it as soon as I get the hotel for Los Angeles (don't know if I should create a separate thread instead). Anyway, I'm checkin Los Angeles area now, and I need help to ID the hotel. Thanks!
  19. Sorry guys, got it all wrong on when I checked on the website. The real 3 star hotel I'm seeing for those dates (Apr 16 to 18) forAnaheim - Disneyland South area is 79 per night. Amenities include: FULL AMENITIES: Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower 95% recommended in Hotwire, 4,5 in Tripadvisor I'm guessing the Ayres. Any thoughts?
  20. I also just checked for Anaheim - Disneyland South area since upon a closer look, I saw I could get a close to disney hotel as well. Same dates (Apr 16 to Apr 18), I got a 3* hotel for $72 per night. I also got a 3.5* hotel for $78 a night, but based on the fact that it charges a $14 resort fee, I was able to determine it was the Crowne Plaza Resort, which is not within walking distance to Disney. So, back to the 3*, $72 per night. Full Amenities: Free Parking, Free Internet, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower It's 80% recommended in Hot.wire, with 4 1/2 in location and quality of service and 4 on the rest. No other fees. My best guesse are: - Portofino Inn and Suites - Indigo (although it says it usually offers complimentary breakfast, which this one doesn't) Most likely the Portofino, right?
  21. Ok guys, after thinking a lot about it, I think we are going to split our LA stay in 2 as suggested. We'll be staying close to Disney first for 2 days and after that will be staying in LA, probably close to Beberly Hills. So, for our Disney stay, I'm trying to score a hotel that's within walking distance, so I've been checking rates in Hotwire for the Anaheim - Disneyland North area, which seems to be the closer to the main entrance in Harbor Blvd. There's a 3,5* that I want to avoid since I know it's the Anabella, and comments are not very nice about it. So, I checked for a 3* with BiddingHelper.com, dates 04/16 to 04/18. Got only one 3* hotel with a rate of 89 per night. Need help to figure out which one it is so that I can determine if it's within walking distance to Disney or not. Full amenities from BiddingHelper.com: Free Parking, Free Internet, Airport Shuttle, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower It's 80% recommended in Hot.wire, with a 4 1/2 score in location and a 4 in the rest. I don't see any in the hotel list with airport shuttle. What are your guesses?
  22. Hey guys, I ended up trying with Price.line on the area (using the links, of course). I starting betting $70 for a 4* on Gaslamp Quarter area and worked my way up to $90 by adding areas that didn't have 4* hotels. Got the Solamar for $90. Sweet deal. Thanks for your help as usual!
  23. Hi guys! I'm back in bidding for my april trip again. I'm looking at San Diego options, April 14 to April 16 and I need help identifying a hotel: 3,5 *, Gaslamp Quarter North - Horton Plaza area, 85% recommended, Full Amenities from BiddingHelper.com: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique Hotel, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access, Spa Services, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower Looking at the hotel list on the site but there's only one 3.5* listed for the area (The Declan Suites) and it doesn't seem to be the one being offered, since it doesn't show "Pet Friendly" or "Boutique Hotel". Any idea what could this hotel be? The other one I'm seeing is: 4*, Gaslamp Quarter South - Convention Center, 95% recommended, Full Amenities from Bidding.helper: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Spa Services, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower I'm thinking it could be (according to the hotel list): Hilton Bayfront Hilton Gaslamp Hotel Solamar Omni San Diego Any idea how to narrow this down? Any opinions you have Ill be happy to hear them!
  24. Hi! Planning to stay in Los Angeles from Apr. 16 to Apr. 21. We are 2 couples and one infant (less than 2 y/o). First time in LA so we don't even know what area to bid at. Our plan is to do 2 days in Disneyland, 1 day Universal, and the rest of the days the usual tourist stuff...Holywood, Beberly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Santa Monica, Venice Beach, etc. We'll have a car with us and driving is not a problem. Our budget is around $80 and we are aiming at getting at least a 3.5*. Any help with areas and prices will be greatly appreciated!
  25. Hi guys! This is the next stop in our trip and we have no clue. We've never been in San Diego, so if you could point out what areas would be better for us, that would be great! We are two couples and an infant (less than 2 years old). We'll have a car and we are only planning on staying 2 nights (Apr. 14 to Apr. 16). Our idea is to visit Sea World, the Zoo, and maybe explore the beach and downtown a little. We are on a budget of $80/night and would like a 3.5* or more (if possible). Thanks you again for all your suggestions, you've been very valuable on the planning of this trip!
