  7. I started my bid through the link yesterday @46$, got rejected with a counteroffer at 62$. I waited those 24 hrs and did my rebid @55$ with an immediate confirmation - so probably overpaid which is really OK at that rate. Got this night at the 4* Nh Frankfurt Airport - more than acceptable at that rate!!! :)
  8. Looking at a one night stay in the Frankfurt Area from Feb 14th to 15th 2011 I used the link to start my purchase 4* 45$ Frankfurt Airport & South but failed added West and failed again added East and failed again I will try again later!
  9. I bid on 4* WHKI starting 75$, got rejected, added TST @ 76$, got rejected, added CK @ 78$ (as in a different thread) and happily got the Courtyard!! Thanks for your help!!!
  10. Hello again! I still focus 5* with no luck up to 145$. Now I'm willing to go with 4* and the obvious Courtyard (which is awesome at the given prices). But as well with that I had no luck yet up to 73$. I will go up further within the next period. Thanks for your assistance. And I will use the reference link to begin with!
  11. Thank you so much for your assistance - I really appreciate it. Yes, I indeed included Central Kowloon. Tried with free re-bid-zones yesterday and tonight and went up to 133$ - still without luck... too bad! But I started my bids through your PRICELINE link!
  12. Yes, I am looking for a hotel in either TST, CK or WHKI. I looking at your tip about re-bidding right now. Thank you so much for your assistance - I used to use PRICELINE only in a very basic way and MUST change that!
  13. Thanks for your help! We are arriving into NYC by air (LGA), leaving by air also from LGA! I might book the Crowne Plaza LGA despite the mixed reviews at the F&F-rate of 100$, what do you guys think?
  14. Second attempt to bid on a 5* hotel in Hong Kong failed. I did use the link provided to start my attempts! 15. What's on in NYC that night? Or is it just the crazy time before x-mas? For Long Island City I would also consider a 4* if available, or at least a 3.5* property. I will use the PRICELINE link for the follow-up bids as well! Thank you very much for your assistance!
  16. Hello, I did several booking attempts: 4* MTE 110$, 115$, 125$ added MTW, tried 125$, 130$ still no luck! I see that the city is pretty booked AND for quite a few hotels there is a 2 nights minimum stay... I did use the PRICELINE link to begin the purchase. I also considered a 3,5* place in the LGA area but had no luck at 65$. What is a reasonable bet for a Long Island City hotel? thanks for your assistance!
  17. I just booked a stay from 07/10 to 07/13. First offer of 62$+ was accepted after a long time of "checking your offer price". I was then given the opportunity to extend the stay at the same low nightly rate. I took that 2nd offer and chose to arrive a day sooner. comes up to a total of 306,90$
  18. used the sb-link, of course 70$ Marble Arch 75$ Westminster 80$ Notting Hill 85$ Regent's Park 90$ Earl's COurt 85$ City 85$ Mayfair all rejected... need to try again in 24h
  19. I used the following strategy and the link of savingsbarn! Not the best choice, but still a good deal and better than the travelodge gresham I had as a backup (and only 10$ per night as an add-on). 44$ 4* Portland Downtown 45$ added PDX airport 49$ added Clackamas 45$ added Tigard 45$ went down to 3* I was given the opportunity to extend the stay in either direction! Was hoping for the Hilton Garden Inn...
  20. I tried the exact same strategy, but just for one room. Period is 03/28/2007 until 03/30/2007 but I was not granted success. Too bad, I will continue to give it a try as I already have a cancelable backup.
  21. started at 39$ with 3* Seatac area, added downtown and went up to 45$. the Hilton sells at 160,65$ GREAT MATCH !!!
  22. Hello, just got a nice hotel with many features for the short getaway in March. Started at 45$ with San Diego downtown, went up to 9 and added Mission Valley... Sheraton San Diego Mission Valley Sells at 169$ at starwood.com. Pretty good deal :-)
  23. I'm a little bit sorry, as this was the first bid of 42$ and I immediately got the bid accepted. Got a total of 154$ all in, cheapest rate found is 294$ all in (advance payment option).
