    We are still gathering reviews for this property.

    Reviews on Tripadvisor are mixed, saying that the pool is out of order. That is not good, as I have two kids and that is pretty much the reason I picked this hotel. I'll report back on how good/bad it was...

    As always, used the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start my purchases and searches.

  4. I am staying in DC until 5/4, but could not get a reasonable rate (I gave up at $150), so I split my bid and got this for the first four nights at $115 and then found another close hotel (comfort inn for $148) for the last night...it sucks to switch hotels for one night, but I saves alot of money.

    I actually bid only 3 stars but I guess I got upgraded to 3.5. I've stayed here before and it is very nice and very good location....too bad they nickle and dime you for internet and breakfast...

    used PRICELINE link.

  5. I messed up the dates...it was only for 1 night from nov 7-nov 8th.

    BTW...I'm here right now at the Hyatt Place and it is NICE!!! 42'' plasma with HD channels and it's all new. Also, I hate staying at nice places and then they nickel and dime you for extras (internet, bfast). This place has free wireless, free shuttle to airport, and free b-fast. I'm super impressed and probably my most satisfying win ever. Thanks for the board! I've been traveling a lot lately for graduate school interviews and have converted at least 3 ppl to use the board in the last week. hopefully more will come!

  6. bid 3* OKC - 35

    bid 2.5* OKC - 35

    bid 2* OKC - 30

    all rejected - went to hotwire to buy a 2* offered for $29 and could not buy it (kept getting an error code #405)

    came back to PRICELINE and bid OKC 2.5 and re-bid - 40

    OKC and Re-bid #2 - $45 -> Accepted and upgraded to 3 star.

    It was frustrating that HOTWIRE didn't work and it messed up my bidding strategy...but it all worked out.

    used PRICELINE link

  7. Started at $35 and used rebids to increase by $1 until $40 was accepted. I was offered almost every time a free rebid if I were to increase by $9, but I of course didn't use it!

  8. I just wanted to share a weird experience I had today on Travelocity. I just found out I have to fly from Iowa to Oregon for a funeral this weekend. I searched for cheap flight all over the place and I couldn't find much less than $800. The on Travelocity I found a flight for $797 and it had a button next to it that said it was only $484 for the flight + hotel. I was suspicious but clicked and it was for real. I scheduled the trip and got 2 roundtrip tickets for my wife and I plus five nights hotel for only $484 a person. We probably won't even use the hotel, but this was awesome and saved us about %50. Crazy huh?
