Perhaps you're right, a 1 hour EL ride isn't ideal. I'm a little confused as to your bidding strategy. It dosen't seem to take advantage of the NMA area. I am a first time bidder on Priceline. My wife is coming in off a late flight on March 10th and I thought it would be fun to stay the night downtown and then go see some sights the next day. I am looking for a 4* in the loop (since it's close to Shedd aquarium or the Field museum), but would consider other 4* areas that are convienient and accesible via public transportation such as N. Mich Ave., Greater Chicago, and O'Hare. In that order. My greatest concern is getting a 4* for for the most economical price. (we are poor grad students) I would prefer to stay below $80 (before taxes). It doesn't look like there are too many conventions going on that week. I have done the following so far.
