I guess Priceline is listing amenities now, it was listed as: Breafast Internet Pool Free Parking Pets allowed Business center 9+ (best deal) Used PRICELINE link

  7. Amenities: Complimentary Breakfast Pool(s) Recommended in 60 % of Hotwire customer reviews
  8. Amenities Complimentary Breakfast Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access We are still gathering reviews for this property. Reviews on Tripadvisor are mixed, saying that the pool is out of order. That is not good, as I have two kids and that is pretty much the reason I picked this hotel. I'll report back on how good/bad it was... As always, used the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start my purchases and searches.
  9. Amenities: Airport Shuttle Complimentary Breakfast Pool(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access I bid up to $38 on PRICELINE, but with tax it was the same, so I bought on HOTWIRE (with the site link as always)
  10. sorry, I almost exclusively use PRICELINE, though lately HOTWIRE has been better... amenities listed: Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Spa Services

  13. I am staying in DC until 5/4, but could not get a reasonable rate (I gave up at $150), so I split my bid and got this for the first four nights at $115 and then found another close hotel (comfort inn for $148) for the last night...it sucks to switch hotels for one night, but I saves alot of money. I actually bid only 3 stars but I guess I got upgraded to 3.5. I've stayed here before and it is very nice and very good location....too bad they nickle and dime you for internet and breakfast... used PRICELINE link.
  14. I messed up the dates...it was only for 1 night from nov 7-nov 8th. BTW...I'm here right now at the Hyatt Place and it is NICE!!! 42'' plasma with HD channels and it's all new. Also, I hate staying at nice places and then they nickel and dime you for extras (internet, bfast). This place has free wireless, free shuttle to airport, and free b-fast. I'm super impressed and probably my most satisfying win ever. Thanks for the board! I've been traveling a lot lately for graduate school interviews and have converted at least 3 ppl to use the board in the last week. hopefully more will come!

    Travelocty

I just wanted to share a weird experience I had today on Travelocity. I just found out I have to fly from Iowa to Oregon for a funeral this weekend. I searched for cheap flight all over the place and I couldn't find much less than $800. The on Travelocity I found a flight for $797 and it had a button next to it that said it was only $484 for the flight + hotel. I was suspicious but clicked and it was for real. I scheduled the trip and got 2 roundtrip tickets for my wife and I plus five nights hotel for only $484 a person. We probably won't even use the hotel, but this was awesome and saved us about %50. Crazy huh?
  23. No re-bids in Cedar Rapids so I just guessed...wonder how low it could have gone? Public rate was $109, so I bid half. This looks to be the nicest place in town! Of course bid through savingsbarn.com!
  24. Bid 2* Hayward - $35 - rejected (was offered free rebid for $13) closed browser and restarted Bid Hayward + Berkley - $37 - rejected (was offered free rebid for $10) closed browser and restarted Bid Hayward + Berkley + Oakland - $39 - accepted Bid thru Savingsbarn.com Thanks!
