I complained to Hotwire, but they just told me that the original price is based on the average of hotels of that rating in the area. Not much savings, nor is it a great hotel. :(

I ended up getting a $182 hotel for $105 - the 4* Marriott Chateau Champlain for a 3 night stay in July.

This is what is coming up on Hotwire for 7/13-7/16. It says it's a 4* that is regularly $209, and is now $127. The only ones I see in that price range are Le Crystal (4.5*) and L Hotel (3.5*). I didn't see any direct matches with the ones in the list. Thanks!!
