For the March 16th stay, it was an opaque purchase - it was the Embassy Suites in Dorado. I knew it was the Embassy Suites and really wanted that, except I didn't realize it was Dorado (a 30 mile drive from where I needed to be)and not the one in Condado/Carolina area. I was too excited that it was the Embassy Suites and didn't pay attention to the location. lol It was listed for $148 as a 3.5 star with the following amenities: Free Breakfast Free Internet Suite Beachfront hotel Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Self service laundry Internet access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Kitchenette Spa Services Accessible for the blind Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower I ended up calling Hotwire and they switched it to the 3.5 star Verdanza over the phone, but also an opaque choice. I got the 3.5 star Verdanza listed at $129 in Isla Verde/Carolina/SJU with the following amenities: Free Internet Pet friendly Near Beach Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Self service laundry Internet access Tennis Nearby Children's activities Thanks Again for your help :-) Jem

Just wanted to update for March 8/14 I ended up booking the Best Western Plus Condado Inn and Suites on HOTWIRE through Standard Hotel Rate (named)and I did use the link from here to book. For the March 16 date I ended up completing it over the phone with HOTWIRE as I initially had chosen the wrong area (Dorado instead of Condado)so not sure if the link counted for that one, but won't need to make another thread. Thanks. I'd rather not stay at this one - trying to hold off until a different four star appears for Condado, but no changes in the past three days, even with changing the number of guests from 2 to 3 or 4. Any idea how often they rotate? I notice the Hotwire List for the San Juan area appears to be outdated. There are some 2.5 star options on Hotwire for Isla Verde/Carolina/SJU that are not on the list at all and the 3 star Normandie ( in Condado) appears to have been closed a few years ago. Just thought I'd let you know. Will definitely use the links and post an update with results as well. Thanks Again :-)

The next is for Isla Verde/Carolina/SJU area 4* for March 16 at $188 USD with the following amenities: Beachfront hotel Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Internet access Accessibility Accessible for the blind Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Do you think this is the Intercontinental or El San Juan? Just wanted to follow up...I decided to go with Tahiti Village. I used the HOTWIRE link from the board to book it. Was sure this was the right one as the Hotwire Hotel List only had one 3 1/2 star near Strip South. The amenities were the same as what is on the list with one exception: Resort, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Kitchenette, Hi-Speed Internet, Spa, Landry, Free Parking, Blind, Deaf, Travel, Room and Bathroom accessible, Handicap Parking and Roll In Shower. *Condo was also on Hotwire's amenities, but not on your list, if you are interested in adding it.* Thank you for all of your help! This is a wonderful service you provide and I look forward to using it again in future trip purchases!

Not going to go with this one - now looking at 4*Near Strip South for same dates for $54 US - amenities don't seem to match the only four star on the Hoteire Hotel List which is South Point. They seem to match Luxor, but that should be Strip South not Near Strip South. Any ideas? I will use the HOTWIRE link to book. Thanks once again!
