I bid for two rooms on the same-day I went to Newport. I got them for $176 each. Total was $410 (including taxes). I was happy with the result, the hotel is very nice and comfortable. Parking was $32 USD per night.

I am going from May 21 to 23 to the virgin islands. I am trying to book at St. Thomas or St. John (maybe even Tortola, on the British Virgin Islands side). My intention is staying at a 4-star hotel. So far I have bid on St. Thomas and extended to St. John, starting from 100 and going all the way up to 140. Would anyone recommend a strategy? Also, is anyone familiar with bidding at the British Virgin Islands? I could also do that. Thanks!
