  1. Just won W Los Angeles the other day via Hotwire. $155 per night from 9/3-9/5. Total, including taxes and fees - $389.66 4 stars Amenities below: Pet friendly Suite Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Internet access Tennis nearby Spa services
  2. There are a couple of hotels listed on the hotel list, but none mention "boutique hotel". Any clue which one this could be? $390 September 16-18 5 star Central Park South FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access 85% recommended
  3. Description: - North Strip area all-suites hotel - Fri, Apr 22 - Mon, Apr 25 1 Room, 2 Adults - 95% recommended (697) Amazing! Based on the hotel descriptions here, I thought this might be the Palazzo. It was. Resort, Casino, Suite, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf, Tennis, Spa, Free Parking, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking Rack rate was $234. I paid $153 via HOTWIRE's Hot Rate option. I thought of bidding on PRICELINE to get a better deal but did not want to get stuck with The Trump (because it's off-strip, and well, because of other reasons as well). Cost summary - 3 nights Hot Rate® Hotel @ $153.00/night: $459.00 - Tax recovery charges & fees: $96.69 - Subtotal: $555.69 - Hotwire Total: $555.69 This does not include the resort fee, which is annoying but inevitable. THANKS!
  4. Marriott - Total: $143 (not including taxes and fees). 3/31-4/1 Description on Express Deals: Downtown Little Rock - North Little Rock Waterfront Area Hotel No smoking Regular price - $179 There is no other hotel matching this description so it was obviously it was the Marriott. I saved about $20 off the rack rate. Not much, but it'll pay for parking.
  5. One more question. Is there a way to bid for a North Strip hotel without getting The Trump. It seems some folks get the Palazzo or Venetian. I'm wondering how?
  6. I've only ever used Priceline to bid on hotels, but now I am curious about the Express Deals offer they have (as well as Hotwire's Hot Rate). Which saves you more money: bidding, or opting for one of the "blind" buys with the price and description listed, but the hotel name hidden? Here are my details: 5 star On-strip (north, south, center) April 22-25 In-hotel casino is not important From what I can tell, the 5 stars via Express Deals and Hot Rate seem to be Trump (~$103 - North Strip, no casino), Palazzo (~$177 - North Strip, casino) and Vdara (~$145 - Center Strip, no casino). These are, of course, guesses. So I guess, what I'm wondering is that given my guesses and options, is it more cost efficient to bid, or to book the "blind" deal outright? Thanks, Terra
  7. I'm interested in staying in Downtown Dubai - Burj Khalifa or Dubai Mall. I'd like to spend no more than $150 per night for a 5-star.
  8. Thank you for the speedy reply. Here's my plan: Dubai - Nov. 29-Dec. 2 Abu Dhabi - Dec. 2 (leave Dubai in AM) - Dec. 4 Dubai - Dec. 4 (leave AD in AM) - Dec. 5 Thank you.
  9. Hello everyone, I will be in UAE Nov. 29 through Dec. 5. My time will be split between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. I have two questions: 1. What are the five-star hotel bidding options on Priceline? 2. What are winning bids for those hotels? Thanks, Terra
  10. Booked a room on May 1 for a one night stay on May 12. Got the 4 star Sheraton Nashville Downtown Hotel for $95. I am a member of IATA (Travel Agent club) because I work in the industry and the best I could get through that discount was $145, so I was pleasantly surprised.
