  1. I think that I will wait and try to bid again. I agree some of those 2 star properties are a bit rough so I think I will reserve those as a last resort. I do not have any back up reservations so if I am unsuccessful in getting a room at a three star I will either just rough it with a two star of not just stay the night (i'm coming from outside philly and org. was just going for a concert). Thanks again thereuare and dahammer for your help and I will update this post if I am successful.
  2. Thanks for your help with the strategy. However, it looks like Sat. nights are even tougher than I thought. I followed the strategy using the rebid zones of AC west, somers point, and vineland-Millville all the way up to 180 and was not successful. Should I wait and try again or should I just look for a two star property in Downtown AC? Is it likely demand will change and a property will become available? Please advise. Thanks again!
  3. Hello all, I am interested in getting a 3* room in Atlantic City for 1 night (Sat. March 11-12 2006). I do not really care at what location (Tropicana, Sheraton, or Holiday Inn). I checked on Hotwire and the 3 star hotel on there is going for 310 and the 3.5 for 228. Would a 150 bid on priceline likely be accepted? Also have the 2 star properties been identified in AC? Can anyone please give me a bidding strategy for Priceline and about how much I should be looking to bid? I know Sat. must be a tough day to bid on in AC -so any help would be great. Thanks in advance.
