I have been following the Sutton Place online with the golf nearby icon for quite awhile. The price had dropped to about $113.00 last night. Checking tonight I see 5* downtown west without the golf nearby icon and figured it had to be the Pan Pacific. WRONG! A little dissapointed but we'll live. :) The price was $158.00 plus $33.50 for a total of $191.50 which we booked through the HOTWIRE link. Thanks to this Hotwire Miami Airport post I bid on 3* Miami airport with the same amenities and got the same hotel. January 10-11th 2009 $69 and with taxes and fees $83.72. Amenities include: Suite, airport shuttle, complimentary breakfast, fitness center, pool, laundry facilities, high-speed internet access, golf nearby, tennis nearby I stayed in the same hotel at the Orlando aiport last year. That one was a very nice hotel. Also bid through the betterbidding HOTWIRE link. Bill

decided not to buy a room on HOTWIRE or Priceline this time. We are keeping our hotel we booked back in June. Thanks for all the help Bill

I was looking for the Embassy Suites or Hyatt Place since both have the breakfast included. The 4* is probably the Ren. Beautiful hotel but would have to pay for breakfast and a cab. Both the Embassy Suites and the Hyatt place used to have shuttles. We can also walk to Carlos and Pepes for dinner instead of taking a cab. Thank you and thanks drycleaner. Bill

Wound up getting the Sheraton Suites for $46 for the night of September 7th from Priceline. It is listed as a 3*. Hotel was excellent and would definitely stay there again. Bill

Just checking HOTWIRE yet again and for the nights of 9/7/07 to 9/15/07 there is a 3.5 hotel listed for the airport that is not on the list that I can find. It has all the amenities of the Hyatt and ren except for the restaurant? Amenities: Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, pool(s) Business Center, High Speed Internet. Bill

tried both 2 adults and 1 child and 2 adults and 2 children. Still coming up with the $49 price. It says Best Value too if that helps any. Bill

thanks for the tips. Looks like I waited too long. The price for the 3.5 airport hotel is now $49 which makes me think it's now the Sheraton Suites. I'm going to keep checking and if I bid it will definitely be through your link. Thanks again Bill

Just poking around the Hotwire site and found what I think is the Hyatt Airport hotel for $93. I have read that the Renaissance has the same amenties, and the Sheraton Suites is now listed as a 3.5 with the same amenities. When I put in the package deal with a car the Hyatt is listed but not the Ren or the Sheraton. I am looking at the night of 9/7/07 for a 1 night stay. Anybody have any insight that would give me any more certainty or is just a crapshoot? If I bid where is the HOTWIRE link from here? TIA Bill

If I decide to book I will definitely use the link provided. I don't want to risk not getting the Hyatt though. :) How close is the part where it says it's a $99 retail value? Because the Hyatt is aboutt $189 a night. Thanks for your replies. :) Bill

Thereuare Great advice. Wasn't aware of the double the difference thing. I don't know if I would have had the courage to bid not knowing for sure if it was the Amerisuites for that price.
