  1. Yeah, I guess I wouldn't mind either of those two. If I don't have any luck with the 5*, I'll lower my bid back down and add 4*. This can work yea?
  2. thanks for the advice! i would normally not have a problem with the trump, however I have friends staying at north strip so I'd like to be as close as possible (walking)
  3. I understand the rebidding process now. Essentially rebid every 24 hours by slightly increasing bid and adding a zone. However, I'm wondering what I should start my bid at for this weekend and how much I should go up per day.
  4. and do i start with just one zone (say north strip) and then add south if my bid gets rejected? then add the other random ones?
  5. Hi yellowdog, thanks for the welcome and response. Based off a quick hotwire search, it doens't look like cosmo is a match on there for my dates. on hotwire 5* strip south are as follows - $241 a night ($350 originally) 90% reccomendation Free parking Free Internet Suite Smoke Free Fitness Business Center Pool High Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accesible In Room Accessible Accessible Bathroom Roll In Shower $257 a night ($369 originally) Resort Free Parking Casino Fitness Center Pool Restaurants Business Center High Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accesible In Room Accessible Accessible Bathroom Handicapped Parking Roll In Shower So it looks like priceline is my best bet (no pun intended :)). As I said, I dont necesarily need Cosmo, so not a big deal. Just want nice 5* (not trump). Was just wondering what my bidding should start at and the best processes to take to get the best deal(first time using priceline ever).
  6. Hi, New to the forum but have been looking around for awhile. I'm looking at getting a hotel for the weekend of May 17th - 19th on the Vegas strip. I'd prefer strip north (non trump) but would take strip south (particularly if i'm looking at the Cosmo). Does the cosmo ever show up on priceline? My budget for the weekend is around sub $500 (would love to keep it in the $175-$200 per night region). Was wondering how I should start my bidding for this weekend? Please advise if you can! Thank you so much!
