We like the location too. Last HOTWIRE purchase was a so so experience, but not a deal breaker. Willing to give it a go again for this price. Hotel chooses bed. It almost has to be a king or Twins. Thats about all they have. Considering the Cubs start their season this particuliar weekend, it is a good price. We drive, so the free parking really is a plus. Anyway, thanks Betterbidding!! Thank you for the feedback and Love this website. My error on the HOTWIRE link usage. I need to remember to use it ahead of posting. This property recently went through a big renovation project, rooms restaurant etc. It is now is a Marriott property apparently. The outdoor pool is gone, but the indoor pool remains. Looking forward to our stay, and checking out the new look . Thanks again.

Has been one of our favorites for a weekend stay. We have a car. I would not stay here without a car or access to a car. Close to Woodfield Mall and Busse Woods, and NW suburbs in general. Not necessarily recommended for going downtown, but there is a METRA Station in Arlington Heights, and a CTA stop with parking is by Ohare/Cumberland stop. Some Toll stations on I-90. Fairly Easy to find, close to the expressway and parking is included. Nice restaurants within a few miles. This is a reasonable rate for this business.

The new Holiday Inn Express is across the street we noticed upon arriving. At the time of booking on HOTWIRE, I found it was this Comfort Inn. It was a terrific value and we enjoyed our stay. It's been 2-3 years since our last stay here, and it seems they have upgraded it. The continental breakfast was above average IMO. (scrambled eggs, meat.... etc) ... I would stay here again. It IS in a location close to the Freeway and not far from many other points of interest for Arlington Heights, Elk Grove Village or Schaumburg.

Country Inn and Suites, Itasca on Hotwire, actually in Elk Grove Village. Won Today. Was hoping to get a great rate here ..... We like staying in this area. We have a car. Boy do I appreciate this website, invaluable. $66 dollars is close to a third off the retail rate for this time of the year. Its near the mall, IKEA, variety of great restaurants, and the freeway. As a sports fan, I like big sports bar / pizza place next door. Perfect. Amenties matched your listings. 4 out of 5 star customer ratings on Tripadvisor, matches Hotwire info. Your in a great area, but you are maybe 25-30 miles from downtown. Chicago land is huge. The good news is we do this too from time to time for the same reasons you selected, but we drive quite often. You will want to learn about the METRA. That is the train that runs from the burbs to downtown. it will take you from itasca to downtown and back, but follows a schedule. Another choice is to park at at the end of the Blue line and take the El downtown. There are parking areas at Rosemont and cumberland stops as i recall. Just takes more time of course. Check it out. Was looking for a place in the NW suburbs. Amenities were Suite, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant and Laundry. Matched your list under Northbrook. Also matched Tripadvisor information. This will be a new motel for us in that area. Gets good reviews. We made the purchase via your HOTWIRE link. Not a huge discount, but still a good deal. We drive so parking is always a consideration.
