  1. I am considering bidding on 5* in Vegas. I can see 5 zones that I can definitely add for re-bids. However, I am not sure about 2 other zones. They don't have 5* listed, but do have resorts listed. If I use these zones for re-bids, is it possible that we could be given a resort over a 5*? I hope this makes sense!? :) Regards, Jasmine.
  2. Hi Going to be in Vegas August 4th - 11th. Are the Rio and the Palms the only 4* hotels West of Strip? We are happy to stay in either hotel and just want to narrow it down before we make our bid. Thanks! Jasmine.
  3. Went ahead and booked the 3* with hotwire as I doubted I would get any of the San Juan resorts on priceline for less than this rate at that time of year. It is indeed the Radisson, as per the amenities I have already listed. Rate was $97 per night. Total $239.23 including taxes. Should be just fine for a two night stay! Thanks again for the advice thereuare. Cheers, Jasmine.
  4. Hello, Looking for a hotel in San Juan for 2 nights, 12/28/06 - 12/30/06. Hotwire has a 3* for $97 per night for these dates. Amenities are: Near Beach Restaurants Fitness Center Business Center Casino Pools High Speed Internet Connection. Would this be the Radisson?? Is this a good rate for these dates and hotel?? Thanks, Jasmine.
  5. theruare, Thanks for the tip! I have now been able to register on the .com website and hopefully will be able to book through this site next time I bid - as long as it accepts my visa! Cheers, Jasmine.
  6. First time bidding on Priceline so I was a little unsure. Have to thank this board - got lot's of good advice before I bid. I had to bid through the UK site, so it was in sterling. Started at STG 50.00, which is about $90 dollars. Last refusal was at STG 60.00 which is about $107. Finally accepted at STG 65.00 which is about $115 dollars. Including the taxes it works out at about $135 per night. I think I probably increased the last bid by a little too much - I should have gone up in STG 1.00 at that stage - but I got slightly confused! I deal in Euro, am used to knowing the value of hotels in the States in dollars, but had to bid in Sterling! Anyway, it is still cheaper than the 4* which Hotwire offered ($150 pn including taxes) and certainly a lot cheaper than any of the other travel website offers. Considering it's July, I think I did ok. JasmineF.
