  1. Hi everyone, sorry about the delay but here are the amenities that were showing with the listing: Free parking Suite A guestroom designed for an extended stay and/or that is more spacious than the average hotel room. Suites typically offer residential-style furnishings, as well as separate living and sleeping areas; some also offer kitchenettes. Casino Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Internet access Golf nearby Spa services I hope that helps, thank you for your help.
  2. Thank you for your help everyone, sorry about the lack of update but I finally pulled the trigger. However, my dates changed and I had to book from 5/13 - 5/15. I used HOTWIRE and the cheapest 5* room that wasn't Trump was $199/night. I really thought it was going to be the Venetian/Palazzo but it turned out to be Encore, which is a great room but that puts me away from my friends. Thank you though!
  3. Hi thereuare! The Venetian/Palazzo would be PERFECT because I have family that have a room there and I want to be close to them.
  4. Hi everyone, It has been quite a while since I've used BetterBidding so it is not surprising that the hotel list has been shuffled around and changed. Based on the list, is it safe to say that it is a little more difficult to get a 5* on strictly on the Strip because the 4-seasons has been added to the "Strip South" grouping? What I am looking for is a 5* hotel, (no Trump or 4-seasons) from the dates of 5/13 - 5/16 with a max budget of ~$150. What is the approach now? Thanks in advance for your help and I definitely remember to use the link via BetterBidding.
  5. You guys are correct. Thank you for pointing that out to me.
  6. Haha, sorry for the confusion. HW = homework. And thank you, that was the confirmation I was looking for. Yes, I am willing to accept any 4* hotel in those last 3 areas. Thank you, Thereuare and everyone else!
  7. Yes, because the airport zone has a max of a 4* hotel. My confusion is regarding a 4* hotel on the strip. So I did my hw, if I wanted a 4* hotel on the LV Strip, my bid/rebid zones are: Boulder Strip Henderson Speedyway NW North Vicinity South Strip North Strip Right?
  8. 1. Boulder 3* 2. Fremont 4* 3. Henderson 3* 4. Lake 4* 5. Airport 4* 6. Convention 4* 7. North Strip 5* 8. Vicinity North 5* 9. Vicinity South 5* 10. NW 3* 11. Strip East 4* 12. Strip West 4* 13. Speedway 3* 14. Summerlin 4
  9. Honestly, I really thought I understood this whole bidding process until the 4* question came up. Could you please list me the bid zones if i wanted to stay at a 4* hotel on the LV strip. (I know you guys would rather have me figure it out on my own so I can understand the process, but i BEST learn buy an example) Fellas, I really appreciate the help here and I'm probably frustrating you guys with all of my questions. And I'm still not sure about Trump Towers.
  10. If I wanted to stay at a 4* hotel on the strip, these are my only zones to bid in. The zones that are not here contain a 4* hotel. I don't get what I'm getting incorrect.
  11. I've looked at it again, but my answer still stays the same. Could you please help a brother out, Yellowdog?
  12. So I did my hw, if I wanted a 4* hotel on the LV Strip, my bid/rebid zones are: Boulder Strip Henderson Speedyway North Vicinity South Strip North Strip Correct? I have not looked at Hotwire, it looks a little more intimidating and complicated than Priceline. What can you tell me about it?
  13. I went for 5*. How many rebid zones do I get if I want a 4* hotel on the Strip (north or south)?
  14. I bid all the way up to $160 but no luck. I guess I should try again tomorrow.
  15. There's a 3-day concert going around that weekend. What's the price of the average 5* hotel in that area? And what methods did you get that amount so I can try it next time for myself. What's the strategy of a 4* hotel? I know it's a little harder because since there are more areas that do have a 4* hotel.
  16. Yes of course, I'll use my old post as reference. The cheaper the better! Before taxes and fee's...hopefully < $150. Got it. Yes, i'll make sure to not include north vicinity.
  17. Hi everyone, I am back again. I'm looking for a 5* room on the las vegas strip from June 21st - June 23rd. However, I have a few questions. 1. Whats the recommended rate I should start at when bidding for that weekend and whats the recommended increments if I don't succeed initially? 2. I believe i have the gist of the bidding strategy (bid, if i fail, try again adding a rebidding zone). Just to clarify, in addition to adding a rebidding zone, I also increase the price, correct? Or do I keep my bid the same, and add another bid zone. I also do not care if its in the north or south, just not the Trump Hotel. Thank you in advance, everyone.
  18. bad news. i dont think i am going to go to las vegas anymore. thank you all for the tips!
  19. Opps, I forgot. Another question, do amenities have a factor in the bid process? If so, in what ways?
  20. My re-bid zones are: Las Vegas (Airport LAS) Las Vegas (Boulder Strip) Las Vegas (Convention Center) Las Vegas (Fremont Street Vicinity) Las Vegas (Henderson) Las Vegas (Lake Las Vegas) Las Vegas (near Strip East) Las Vegas (near Strip West) Las Vegas (Strip North) Las Vegas (Nellis - Las Vegas Speedway) Las Vegas (Strip North Vicinity - Condo) (NOT A RE-BID ZONE) Las Vegas (Strip South) Las Vegas (Summerlin) I think I got it, still update you guys as soon as possible!
  21. I'm a bit confused....So for example, if i get rejected with $110 5* Strip North and Strip South, my next bidshould consist of option 1: ($110 5* Strip North and Strip South + near Strip East) [only changing the bid zone] option 2: ($115 5* Strip North and Strip South) [only changing the price] option 3: ($115 5* Strip North and Strip South + near Strip East)[changing both the bid price and bid zone] ?
  22. Hi everyone, first time user. I'm looking for a 5* hotel on the LV Strip for the date of 4/19-4/20 AND 6/21-6/23. The budget I'm hoping for is < $150 and no Trump (lol, I saw a similar post to this one earlier, maybe this post can help the other person out!) I'll definitely be sure to use betterbidding's PRICELINE link for all searches I'll conduct. Thank you in advance, everyone. :) *Edit: And I won't forget to post up the results.
