  1. One night stay - Saturday Night on the Riverwalk - $85 at the Marriott.
  2. It is one of the furthest hotels from the Riverwalk in the Riverwalk district, but it's still only 0.5 miles. I'd been rejected on Priceline for $55 for 3 stars and $85 for 3.5 stars, so $69 on Hot.wire seemed like a good deal especially since it has FREE PARKING, which I'd be unlikely to get taking my chances on Price.line. Property Location A stay at Holiday Inn San Antonio - Dwtn - Market Sq places you in the heart of San Antonio, walking distance from Casa Navarro State Historical Park and Museo Alameda. This family-friendly hotel is within close proximity of Cathedral of San Fernando and Main Plaza. Rooms Make yourself at home in one of the 313 air-conditioned guestrooms. Your pillowtop bed comes with cotton sheets, and all rooms are furnished with single sofa beds. Rooms have private balconies. Cable programming and video-game consoles are provided for your entertainment, while complimentary wireless Internet access keeps you connected. Private bathrooms have complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. 3. I bought this on a Thursday night for a 3-night stay starting Saturday night. 3 nights @ $110. With taxes and fees it totals $390.24. To reserve a room at the same hotel online it would be $219.
  4. Trip was great - here's my review of the hotel. It is well located. It's decorated super space-age modern, but rooms are small with an inefficient layout. They may have difficulty fitting a rollaway bed in, so if you're traveling with kids, call ahead to make sure they can accommodate you. They offered us a goldfish in our room, which was very cute. The restaurant downstairs is Japanese, and kind of pricey. I recommend Chix, a chicken place just a few doors down that has amazing chicken, and they also serve breakfast. They had a bike in the lobby which I didn't check out, but it's available free to guests. Considering how close the location is to all the sites, it would be an ideal way to get around the city.
  5. It is a great location - that's for sure :D I understand it will cost $45 to park there, but I expected that downtown.
