Guaranteed clues seem to be RESORT, BEACHFRONT, and especially FREE PARKING (also perhaps BOUTIQUE) to differentiate from the Sheraton and other nearby 4*.

I am not disappointed though I was hoping for the Langham. In retrospect, these hotels seem to have similar if not identical amenities. The defining difference for now is that the W-A is 95% recommended and the Langham is 100%. Looking at detailed customer comments it is clear what is the Langham because it is in a 50's historic modern international style skyscraper with floor to ceiling windows that are frequently mentioned.
Also for this trip I booked the Hilton LondonHouse for $240 for the 9/16-17 portion of my trip. I can't imagine 6 weeks out that I'll do better than that. I pretty much did get my goal of $500. Of course fees add up.
Thank you.

Planning a trip to Chicago around a wedding in Wisconsin, so we will be in Chicago before and after the Saturday Wedding. Would prefer to stay one night at the Langham in the historic Van der Roe former IBM Buiding, and the other night hopefully at the Intercontinental with its beautiful Indoor Pool or perhaps the Fairmont. But I would like to stay within $500 for the two disparate nights. I will make a similar request in 4 different Topics 9/16-17 Hotwire; 9/16-17 Priceline Express; 9/18-19 Hotwire; and 9/18-19 Priceline Express. Thank you for your help.

I have stayed here before and even at its advertised rates, I think it is one of the best deals in Hawaii, but especially at a Hot.wire rate.
I decided to book directly with the Pierre du Calvet. Very interesting and historic. An honest 3.5*. Because I booked directly, I do not know if they appear on Priceline or Hotwire. Thank you for your help.
I am still 2 1/2 months out from my visit. I going to wait a while and hopefully get a decent price on a second night at the Sheraton. I'll let the board know.
Thank you for the reply.
As posted earlier I got an unbeatable hotel deal at the 4* $125 Sheraton Times Sq for the previous night. Hoping of course to nab a similar deal and stay at the Sheraton a second night (though I realize of course that I would not be guaranteed the same room).
However, being adjacent to Memorial Day weekend, this $215 4* may be the best upscale Midtown deal I'm going to get. I don't mind so much changing hotels if it's worth it.
What do you think?

I'd like to think that this is the Park Lane or Sofitel, or an upgraded Sheraton Times Square. But I am afraid it may be City Club.
Thanks for your help.

The Mauna Lanil has been consistently appearing during the last month that I've been looking for this date. It disappears for a few days then returns at the same or slightly different price. To the best of my knowledge the hotel does NOT charge a convenience or resort fee, (parking is $15/day), which makes it more competitive with the Sheraton, which I believe is the other frequently appearing 4* near Kona (Sheraton adds $30/day resort fee, this includes parking).

Used the SAVEHOTEL 10 Hotwire Coupon, total price with tax for two nights = $313 (+ $50 resort fee; I hate this but $25/night is not bad). Very happy with win, quality and location.
