As for parking, is there a reasonable parking garage within close proximity to the Grand Hyatt? I have read that the hotel parking is very expensive. I would be looking for a 2 day parking (in-out probably not necessary)

I am stuck in the same rut as you. I have been trying for the last couple of weeks for 2/16-2/18 in 4-star - MTW + MTE + Times Square + the 2 rebids. I start at $140 and move up to $160...no luck. I religiously try everyday, in case something opens up.
I am thinking that the Saturday night arrival is causing us grief.
I have been lucky in the past for Saturday night arrivals, but for some reason, this one is tough. Perhaps, it's because it's the first Saturday after Valentines and it is President's weekend (?)...
It is still over 2 weeks away, so maybe things will open up in the next week (?)....What is the sweet spot for bidding on PL? I thought it was 1-3 weeks before the arrival date.
I'm wishing both of us luck :-)

Not having any luck here either. I've been trying for the weekend of 8/14- 8/17. bid 4 then 3.5 then 3 stars between $60 to $120 over the last few weeks and absolutely no hits. Trying for downtown Niagara Falls.
