used savingsbarn.com and followed the strategy suggested here . . . The first 3 bids got rejected, and then I bidded at $139 and "won" the Westin Grand. I don't know if it is a good deal for that hotel but I am happy with it. Thank you for all the help!
I think I posted this in the wrong forum (Vancouver) yesterday. Here is the question. I am looking for 2 rooms in a 4-star hotel in Seattle (6/3/07 - 6/4/07). Is now too early to bid for those dates on Priceline? Any suggestion on bidding strategy? Thanks!
Thanks for the reply. Let's say the max. bid for the Vancouver hotel is $150. Can you suggest a strategy for Priceline? By the way, is it too early to bid for hotels in June 07? Thanks!
What's a reasonable bid for a 4-star in Vancouver in early June? I went up to $139 on Priceline and got rejected. What do you think about this hotel from Hotwire? Any idea? 4-Star hotel in Downtown Vancouver Entertainment District Suite Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Kitchenette

One more question . . . There are not too many options for 4* and 5* hotels for June 07 on Hotwire. Is it because it's too early? When would be a good time to look?
