I'm looking for a 4* hotel in USE and not finding it yet. Here is my bidding history thus far and I'll update this as I continue: 4* USE - $70 rejected 4* USE + Cathedral Hill (no 4* so it is a free rebid) - $75 rejected 4* USE + CH + Civic Center (free rebid again) - $78 rejected 4* USE + CH + CC + South San Francisco (free rebid again) - $82 rejected. I'll try again in a few days.

First Try got me this 3* in downtown. Holiday Inn Select Boston Government Center 5 Blossom St @ Cambridge St Boston, MA 02114 After taxes for 2 nights - $141.42

The hotel location is great, right next to the Marriott and across from the Prudential Center and close to the highways. However, the rooms were not that great. The shower head they use is like a firehose with just one opening where the water shoots out. The sound also sounded something like a fire hose where it was so loud I was lucky to be able to think as I took a shower. As for the rest of the room it was comfortable, quite, and nice. The TV, though I did not use it much, was about 20-24 inches, which I thought was a bit small. Then again, it is only an oddity for me not to see a bigger tv in a hotel, but since I did not use it much it was not a bother. Besides that the hotel clerks were nice and the bistro (Bistro Joe) was a good place to eat. Beyond that parking is $36/night.

I chose the 4* in Back Bay - Copley place since it was a gamble. The Colonnade Hotel 120 Huntington Avenue Boston, Massachusetts 02116 (617) 424-7000 Cost: $106/night It has a restuarant, Pool, Fitness Center, and Business Center I used Hotels.com to figure out what the possibilities are and they have it as a 3.5 star at 159.00 per night. Cost: $62/night 3.5 Star Back Bay - Copley Square Customer Favorite Amenities: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness Center, Internet, Business Center Cost: $97/night
