I already had a trip booked in Boston. This week is crazy - prices for 4* hotels were all above 300$ so I had just booked a room with SPG points. Last minute I did a final check on Priceline. I just got a Priceline Express Deal for 130 for 10/14/2016 through 10/18/2016 at the Westin Copley Place, Boston. Showed up as a 4* in Copley Square / Back Bay with the following Top Amenities: Fitness Center Pets Allowed Business Center Under view all amenities it also listed Restaurant No Smoking Rooms/Facilities At the very bottom of the page it said Pets up to 40 pounds

Used the PRICELINE link on better bidding. From research on the board I already knew 3.5 in Anaheim South was likely to be Crowne Plaza and attainable at 60$. Started off at 50 which didn't win, added Anaheim Hills, bid at 55, still didn't win, added Anaheim Angel Stadium and bid 60 and won. I forgot what amenities were listed unfortunately. I'll have to screenshot that before I bid next time to remember. Good price, same hotel on Hotwire is probably 70$.

So trying to find a hotel in Monterey, CA and before I bid I tried the new Express Hotel from Priceline. It's basically something where you get a one time discount on specific hotels and all you can see is the star rating as well as the area. There was a 4* hotel in the list for 123. I could not see which hotel it was, of course, but I was figuring on the Hyatt Regency. I tended up being the Interncontinental Monterey The Clement so I'm happy. With fees of 23 dollars the total came out to 146$ for a 4* in Monterey without having to do a single bid. The same hotel on hotels.com starts at 199.

Got 4* Westin Gaslamp Quarter 70$, check in 12/17/2012 and checkout 12/18/2012. Started bidding at 65$, 4* Gaslamp Quarter One free rebid with El Cajon Final Price 70$
