  1. Some sites seem to list this as a 4.5 star, but I won it as a 5 star. The location seems decent, clost to BTS and shopping malls. I had previously bid up into the $90 dollar range, but had no luck so I waited a few weeks. This was my first bid after not bidding for those three weeks, so I would suggest starting lower, and using re-bid zones as Bangkok seems to have a few.
  2. The summer is nigh and hotel rates are increasing. We're looking forward to being at a more central location with the Hotel Lucia, versus the Hotel DeLuxe which is a bit of a hike from the downtown core.
  3. Rejected bids at $143 and $148. Better than the PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal offered on PRICELINE for same star/location for $166.
  4. Just as a follow up, this was by far the best hotel experience we've had in Seattle to date. While the room itself was fairly standard, we were given a West facing room on the 21st floor, so the views were great. The bathroom was HUGE, with a walk-in shower, and a jacuzzi tub, marble floors and granite counters. I've stayed at the Westin, the Hotel Max, the Renaissance, and the Hyatt was the best of the bunch, hands down. It also had the best location, a Starbucks in the lobby, and great restaurants attached. Parking is $30 tax included, which is quite reasonable as I found others to be $30 PLUS tax.
  5. I'm looking forward to trying out the Grand Hyatt. $30 parking isn't terrible. Last year at this time I paid $140 for a 3 star near Lake Union, so this is a steal. Free breakfast too. canuckchris
  6. I just added the Friday night using the "extend my stay" option for the same $92 price.

  8. Looking forward to seeing the Trans Siberian Orchestra perform that evening.
  9. I was denied on Priceline for $98 for pretty much the same details. Sometime Hotwire is the better option.
