I had hoped this was the Westin Tabor Centre, but no go. Should have realized the tennis was the giveway (hopeful thinking). We ended up getting a $99 rate at the Mariott Michigan Ave directly from the hotel's Website. So we did not use Hotwire, etc.

I guess this is the Holiday Inn Select City Center Lakeshore. I've seen it as lowest price other places and it matches the ammenities except for "customer favoritre." Not sure how I missed it in the list the 1st time thru. Sorry.

Thanks guys. The $109 rate is not bad. But now that I am thinking about it I may look in the loop to be closer to the El. We stayed at the Burnham a long time ago and have seen it pops up on Hotwire. -Mike

Hi. Booking 5 nights in Chicago for 12/22 - 12/27 and rates are cheap compared to the warmer months. Looking at Embassy Suites Lakefront for a change of location (usually closer to Water Tower). I could not find a definitive hit at Hotwire because all listings lack any suite/breakfeast ammenity. Any pointers? This looks possible ... 3.5-star hotel in Magnificent Mile - Wacker Drive (Downtown Areas) $80 Customer Favorite!
