Day One:Started bidding at $65 for downtown Toronto zone. Used rebids up to $85.00 in $5.00 increments - all rejected Day Two: Started bidding at $65 and raised in $5.00 increments. Accepted at $100.00 Sutton Place Hotel 955 Bay St. Toronto, ON Check in date: Tuesday July 1, 2008 Check out date: Friday July 4, 2008 Offer Price: $100.00 Total charges with taxes and service fees: $351.08 I've bid the Toronto downtown zone successfully many times in the past and have never stayed at this hotel (and never for this price). The Canadian long weekend is ending (July 1st is Canada Day) at this time. Rates are really high in the city for these dates for whatever reason. (Sheraton downtown had rates of $389.00 at the time of booking and now no rooms are available). This PRICELINE bid was accepted on June 10, 2008.

After a few bids, I ended up getting the Hyatt Harborside (Revere - Logan Airport Zone) for $60/night. Might have gotten it cheaper, but I'm still happy with this. Following some recent bids, I got the Hilton for $120. I bid $120 for MTE (got the Waldorf in August for $121, so wanted to check just to make sure.) Was rejected at $120. Added MTW and bid $120 again. Accepted on the first offer. I bid for 2 rooms, 2 nights. Cheapest rate on the hotel website was $289/night, so I'm happy with this one!
