  1. Was looking to book a nice hotel for a weekend and Paris and found two seemingly amazing deals, one is this which is $95/night at a 5-star near the Louvre, with 4.5 rating on Tripadvisor. Thought it would be the Renaissance Vendome but turns out to be the Le Meurice which is surprising as it seems to be one of the old style grand hotels, not sure hot it ended up on Hotwire? Just checked on the hotel website and the cheapest room is going for USD883 ... ?!?! Hope they won't give me a broom closet on checkin. The other deal that seems to be available all summer is a 4-star in the North Champs Elysees area for $44/night, also with 4.5 rating on Tripadvisor. Seems like a super deal but transport could be less straightforward in the northern part of this area so did not go for this.
  2. Hi - last week I saw in 'Express Deals' that a four star was available in the Chicago River North zone for about $110 (can't remember exactly), then I went into bidding and successfully got the Allerton Hotel in Chicago for $85 for a night. Today I checked again and saw that in Express Deals a four star with the same amenities is going for just $81 (in bidding it will probably be lower). This is most likely the Allerton again as in standard pricing it is going at at $129. Now the question is - is this covered by PL price drop guarantee? I'm not bothered by the $25 bonus but just wonder if my booking can be revised... Thanks.
  3. Tried for NYOP after seeing a four star in the zone for 110 in the zone.
  4. Have been checking several days for a decent and not exorbitantly expensive stay for the weekend. Decided to check separate days and for Friday night saw this on Hotwire for $149 all inclusive. Tried on Priceline and got it for $105, including fees $129. Still on the hunt for Sat night.
  5. Am trying to book a hotel for a New York weekend, just looking for a clean modern room with easy access to the city. Downtown is way overpriced and have stayed in Secaucus before but looking for somewhere a bit closer ... found this but cannot seem to identify it: 2* Hoboken-Jersey City Oct 5 -7 $128/night Amenities: Free Breakfast Free Internet Business Center Fitness Center Airport Shuttle High Speed Internet Access It shows a Tripadvisor rating of full 4 circles with 300+ reviews. Can't find an exact match on Tripadvisor - could it be Holland Motor Lodge? It doesn't seem to have airport shuttle though. Any help much appreciated!
