Bid $65 last minute. Was given a counter-offer of $85. Added South Boston and bid $70. Accepted at the Hyatt Harborside.

Started at $50 for a 4* in Millenium-Loop-Grand Park and worked my way up $5 at a time to $100 with free rebids. Lowest rate on the hotel website is $260. At $90 I got an offer for a free rebid if I upped the bid by $22, so I saved $12. :) Also looks like it's the night after the Chicago Marathon. I used the PRICELINE link here to bid.

Rates seem really high on this week -- even the Days Inn was $95/night.

Lowest retail price I was able to find was an economy with Hertz for $291 all in (AAA rate + $20 off).
