  1. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it and I always use the links on this page to get to PRICELINE. The PRICELINE EXPRESS deal appeared like this: Waikiki Marina area hotel, 4*, Guest Rating: 8+, ! Guest Favorite, $146/night Bed choice available
  2. Thank you. I had to change my dates to 12/4 through 12/10 because the Prince is sold out on the final days of my trip. I noticed that the Prince was available on PRICELINE EXPRESS deals for $146 per night so I started my bidding at $125 and re-bid up to $135 with no luck so I just booked the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal which was $33/day better than the Prince's best pre-paid price directly though their site. For the final days of my stay I plan to book directly through the Outrigger site so I can get an Oceanfront room without the resort fee's Thanks again!
  3. Thanks for the advice! I will post my results here. That win for $80 was back in 2009 which was before I knew about this site. Thank you.
  4. My dates are 12/4-12/14 and of coarse I'd like to get it as cheap as possible but I'm willing to bid up to about $180, and I'll be happy with which ever 4* hotel I end up with. Thanks
  5. I usually like to stay in the Waikiki beach area, but this time I'm targeting the Hawaii Prince hotel in Waikiki Marina area. What is the suggested strategy for bidding and re-bidding to get this hotel? Last time I was there I bid $80 for 4* in the Waikiki Marina zone and got it the first time. I always use the links provided on better bidding.com to get to PRICELINE. Thank you
  6. Well today was my last chance to bid before losing my 1 day deposit at my reserved hotel and I bid the 4*+ in the Waikiki Beach area up to $150 and the 3*+ Waikiki central area up to $95 with no luck so I guess I will be sticking with my reservation through the hotel for this trip since I am guaranteed an ocean view for only 30% more than my current priceline bid. Thanks for the help.
  7. Thank you! I have tried splitting up the dates in a number of ways including shortening my stay 1 day at a time and delaying my arrival by 1 day at a time and still no luck. The refundable hotel that I have booked at has a 72 hour cancellation policy, and rates have gone up a bit since I booked it so I will try PRICELINE via the links provided on this site one last time before I can no longer cancel my refundable hotel and I will post my results here. I have had great luck with priceline in the past getting resort hotels for $80, but we're not even close to that right now. Thanks
  8. Hello! I've been using to PRICELINE links in this forum in my attempts to strike a deal for either a 4*+ in the Waikiki beach area, or a 3*+ in the Waikiki beach and Waikiki central area with no luck and my dates are now within a week. With 2 weeks to go I was bidding the 4*+ all the way up to $200 using all of the re-bid areas, however I have recently started adding the 3* in the Waikiki central area because I like the Aqua Waikiki Wave, and I've been bidding it up to $95 with no luck. I'm seeing retail prices at the Waikiki beach Marriott for $219, and I have a confirmed refundable reservation at the wave for $129 so I don't want to bid these up any more than I already have. Is anyone having any better luck lately with last minute bids? Thanks
