Hotwire pulled a fast one and changed the Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca to 3 and 1/2 stars from 3 so I was fooled. Had been trying for a price around $100 US for days with no luck. Usually did 5 bids starting around $80 and going up to $115 adding additional free rebid zones except not the airport which now has a 4*. But, got a little desperate and started higher today. $81, $99, $109, $119, $129 Bingo Hotwire only had one 4* and that was $150, it had been inching up all week lowest 4* was $122, but usually around $140. Anyone have an idea if Priceline and or Hotwire would have dropped if I waited to Thursday night? But I am pleased with the Westin, regular rate is $265 Can. before taxes of 18%. I have had good luck requesting 2 beds upon arrival with this Hyatt in the past. I usually do call in advance and that can't hurt It's a great location and a very nice hotel with a fabulous pool and if the weather is brutal you are connected to the mall and the underground city. Have fun, good coffee shop near the large fountain in the mall.

Amenities were the same as listed on the pinned Hotwire NY List 3-star hotel in Albany Intl Airport ALB This hotel features the following amenities: Boutique Hotel Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Pleasant stay and great location , the first room we were given was a dog, clogged sink with gross gunk and ugly repainted spots all over one wall. But the helpful and friendly front desk man gave us another room immediately without any hassle and that was fine. Comfy quilts and bedding, TV worked. Quiet, but the foot stool for the accompanying upholstered chair had a large stain on it. Resto was nice looking, bartender gave a fair pour on the glass of wine $9.00 but a ridiculously bad pour on the PINT I specifically asked for on a local specialty beer, tiny glass over half of it foam. If I had been informed in advance about the "pint" and the so-called proper way to dispense it. I wouldn't have been miffed. But when I questioned it she said that's the way it comes and walked away. $7.00 gone in (I am not kidding 2 swallows, 6oz of liquid max). Of course a fine beer should have some head but that was absurd. Would recommend again but hope they improve the resto/bar.

Sorry to say, but it is rare to not pay for parking in a Canadian city. Often off site parking can be found for less than the hotel rates. $15 - 25 is the usual range

Surprised that the Hyatt is even using Priceline during the festival given that they are the Hotel #1 for the event. Bid two days ago, starting at $70, went to $90 but no success. Best 4 star on Hotwire was $115, one amenity resto, probably Embassy Suites. I am very happy with the result. Hi, Yes there was no pool icon displaying at purchase. By the way it is quite a lovely pool. Great visit at the Hyatt, lovely staff and service. Parking is easy and the food court and Complex Desjardins is just an elevator ride away.
