  1. First bid in Tech Center zone for $40, received a counteroffer from Priceline for $60. Ignored the offer and added the "Denver South - Park Meadows" zone. Bid $46. Bid accepted by Hilton Garden Inn Denver South/Meridian. (Note: I tried to extend the reservation for one additional night on Priceline and it would not let me stay the next night, Monday, 10/28, for the same price)
  2. The zone is no longer called "Tech Center South" (there is only one tech center zone now)-- this zone is now called "Denver South - Park Meadows". I bid $62 my first time and it got accepted right away by the Marriott at Park Meadows. I probably could have bid lower but my stay starts tomorrow so I didn't want to risk it.
  3. Bid $78 for 4 stars in Dupont Circle - Woodley Park. Priceline offered back that I could increase my bid by $10 (to $88) and try again. Instead I added the "Georgetown North" area (I don't think there are any 4* hotels there, I was trying to add a dead zone) and increased bid by $5 to $83. Marriott Wardman Park (which is in Dupont Circle - Woodley Park) accepted it. The hotel is very nice - my parents are staying there (on the lounge floor in the tower) now for $78/night and liked it so much they wanted to stay again for the end of their trip :)
  4. Bid 4 stars in Dupont Circle-Woodley Park for $78, first bid accepted by Marriott.
  5. Bid up to the point where I received a counteroffer (I think it was $47?), then added Fort Collins North area (there are no 3.5 star hotels there) and adjusted bid up to $52, accepted by the Marriott Fort Collins.
  6. Bid $58/night for one night (Friday) - accepted I have tried lower bids and tried working my way up-- that seems to be about the lowest that hotel will take.
  7. Yesterday I bid $85 and received an immediate counteroffer for $130. Today I started bidding at $95 and received an immediate counteroffer for $119. I rejected the counteroffer and instead added a rebid zone at $101, rejected. Added a rebid zone at $106, rejected. Added a rebid zone at $108, rejected. Added a rebid zone at $109, accepted! (Note: Priceline had a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for the same star/location for $109 - not sure if it was also Vdara or another property, but I'm guessing Vdara because a casino was NOT one of the listed amenities.
  8. Hello - I am seeing a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for a property in the strip south for the past week. Most days it has been $109, a few days over the weekend it went up to $110. --- not sure if I would be winning the same property by bidding?
