Yes, it was Hot.wire. I did notice it's not on there now though, it disappeared just after I booked.

We decided this was the best value, taking everything into account. We will have a car, so can get to the beach in about 5 mins, and still visit other areas too.

My budget could be up to $280 a night, but I would rather not spend that amount! If that is the Hard Rock, then the parking is free.... where as a lot of other properties have a $30 parking fee, so it's not as expensive as it first seems. As well from helping me ID them, I thought it might be useful to you to see properties not on the list.

Apologies, as this one was Priceline, I thought I needed to post it in the Priceline section. Sorry I made an error in the date, it's from 23 Feb to 27 Feb, and it is still there in the Priceline Express Search. I am comfortable with an opaque purchase, I have previous booked the Westin Diplomat on Hollywood Beach as an umnamed hotel with Hotwire (a few years back, before I knew about this forum) We were initially hoping to keep the rate to less than $150, and so there was no option but to take a non-beach location. However we have now decided we will pay more to get the beach location. I see some people have been getting 4 star beach hotels in Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale areas, for less than $120, for early Feb.... which would be perfect, but at the moment I can't find anything for those prices. Either location would be fine for us, but we would really prefer the beach areas. Thanks for your help.

Thanks very much. I went through the Hotwire Easy View button, and the amenities are exactly as you listed. Having read the reviews of that property, I'm not going to book through hotwire, but I really appreciate all your help.

Would like some help identifying Hotwire Hotels please 1- Near the Strip - East area - 3 Star Trip advisor - 3.5 out of 5.0 Free Parking, Casino, Airport Shuttle, Fitness Centre, Pools, Restaurants, Business Centre, Internet access It's the fact it has a casino, which is surprising me, as the possible options on the hotel list do not have casinos.

Just reporting back, that I have booked a hotel in the Laconia area directly with the hotel.
