Hi there, I'm new to the hotel bidding rodeo. I've done some preliminary research but now I'm stuck. I'm trying to get a 4 star hotel in downtown Vancouver BC for 8/21-8/23. Two days ago I bid $110 and was told that a recent hotel bid went for $133. This was an offer to me too. Maybe I should have grabbed it, but I didn't. Now the prices (24 hours later) for recently won rooms have jumped to $180. Is this right? (A Tue and Wed night?!) What am I doing wrong here? Any suggestions? Thanks!
