  1. Does not include the $28 hotel fee or taxes, so the rate is really $130 per night.

This was about $25 cheaper than the next category up (3.5 stars) for those dates. It's possible this location could have gone for less, but probably not a whole lot less.

  3. I can't complain about the rate I got, or the hotel itself. As others have pointed out, the hotel is very nice however... it is not a 4-star property (listed as such on Priceline). Although nothing was out of place or wrong, the difference between a 3-1/2 and 4 are the little things: no bathroom robes, decent but not great toiletries, not enough to make you feel pampered.

  4. Does anyone have any suggestions for me regarding a room that is already booked and paid for?

My night in NYC was suddenly cancelled the day after I booked my room on Priceline for August 23 (Thursday night). Of course I know that it's non-refundable, however I hate to see a valuable hotel room in a 4-star hotel (Sheraton New York) go to waste. I'll be in NYC during the day, so I can sign another person in, so that part is not a problem. I'm not looking to make any money from this--at best just cut my losses, or at worst find some worthy soul to give it to. Is there any place or method in which to do so?

    Thanks in advance.
