  1. Not having the best luck, have been using the links above. I've been shut out about 4 times so far. I did book directly with Vdara as it is our hotel of choice, will cancel if I get lucky with Priceline. I will keep thread up to date. Max bids have been$125. No rush to go much higher at this time
  2. Really location is the deciding factor, anywhere on the LV strip central west or even LV strip central east. 5* properties. $125 is what I am hoping on paying a night, knowing that I will have to pay resort fees.
  3. No real ideal property, it is more the location, and the stars. I would like a really nice property with walkable distance to Bally's for my conference. we are not much of gamblers, casino is of no importance. More interested in amenities ect. I am open to other suggestions as well. $125/night is certainly not a bad price, makes me think that it is possible to bid a better price? Appreciate the help and thoughts.
  4. I'm headed to Vegas for a convention on 10/10/17-10/14/17, im looking to stay near convention at ballys, but not wanting to stay there, want to get a 5* in the LV strip Cental West, current express deal is $158/night (vdara?) Hotwire central strip fountains area $125 a night (definitely vdara). I'm using your links to get to sites to look this up. My question is that a good price, is there a good strategy to start bidding, obviously I have a lot of time until conference. What price should I be starting at? Familiar with the bidding and zones.
  5. Good news, bid $28/day, recieved a full size car through avis...great deal, $290 for the week including taxes and priceline fees. Very happy with deal.
  6. Will do, will start trying tomorrow. I do need a rental. If I strike out on the bids, I will turn to HOTWIRE for a lower rate. Thanks for the help, I will keep you posted on any update.
  7. Willing to bid up to $34, would prefer a top teir rental, not so interested in fox etc, some reviews are a little concerning.
  8. Done with new york thread, parents booked directly with a hotel, they were uncomfortable with timing
  9. I am needing a car rental from Denver airport, 3/17-3/24. I have tried bidding on priceline from 18-24 dollars/day, no luck so far. I am bidding on a full size car. Hertz for $87/day Enterprise for $86/day Alamo for $79/day Hotwire for $46/day I am using the link on the page to bid. Any advice for bidding?
  10. Only interested in theater district/times square zone. I would like to keep this at $250 or below. Worst case senerio would be to get a HOTWIRE rate or PRICELINE discount rate. Thanksfor the help
  11. Looking to book for New York City, Theater District and Times Square, looking only at 4* hotels for trip on 4/3-4/6 Started my bidding at $170 for 5* hotel, up-ed to $175 with 4* hotel Added free zones, of queens borough bridge, morningside heights, coney island, long island city, bidding all the way to $195. As always, used your PRICELINE link for the bidding x6. Any advice?
  12. Started bidding yesterday, started at 50 and kept rebidding on free re-bid zones, stopped at $64. Restarted today, started at $60, and started rebidding and increasing at 3 dollar increments. Won a bid at $66/night, and won The Hotel Minneapolis, Autograph Collection. Looking forward to a great stay this next week.
  13. I have been trying for about a week or two now, and trying the north and south strip, 5* hotels. I have seen on hot-wire, 148 a night, and with taxes it going for $512 for the 3 nights (no casino so I figured it was Vdara). Otherwise, best I have been able to find for the weekend on the north or south strip, 5* was $615 on Vegas.com, all of these are at Vdara, Palazzo and Venetian, Cosmo, were all considerably more. This morning, I started at $110 per night, and I advanced to 135 per night. Last one, I added north zone and south zone strip, put 140 as my last offer of the day and it was accepted at Vdara. $140 was the max I was going to bid, I may have been able to get it cheaper if I had waited. 140 per night 420 for the three nights 485.67 with taxes Looking forward to the trip, looking forward to trying the $20 dollar trick for an upgrade.

  15. Looking to book up a room for the North or South Strip, 4* and 5* hotel. Was getting varied prices, been booking through the links on the website. I did get a 5* in north strip at $133.00, I am thinking that is Trump, 5* south strip at $138.00 no casino so I am thinking for Vdara. What would be the 4.5* no casino on the South strip at $170.00. Curious as I am not finding any 4.5 star on the hotwire hotel list here on betterbidding.com
  16. Been using the links from the website to post on priceline, Still bidding only to the 5* north strip on 10/19-10/22 On 8/6, I started at $80, free rebids until $105 at $5 increments, did not win and stopped. 8/11, I started at $90, free rebids until $115 at $5 increments, did not win and stopped.
  17. Currently interested in north zone right now. Max price would be about 150/night. If notjing in next month, i think i may move to south zone then.
  18. Started bidding on 5* north strip, $60, denied, then added zone 1 went to 62, denied, added zone 3 went to $64, denied. I kept adding zones until i got to $70, all denied. I know these were all long shots, i figured that I had until October to finalize my lodging. Will restart in 48 hours to try again. Any suggestions on start bids for Friday, Oct 19th-Monday Oct. 22nd?
  19. Looking to bid for a 5* hotel, late october weekend, have plenty of time to bid, wondering a good price to start at before free re-bids, i know prices are going for over $200 per night on priceline, hotwire has a price 133 per night. Thanks for any help.
