I returned late last night from my trip to Chicago, and want to follow up with a very hearty thank you to AaronJB for all his input. The James Hotel was great. It lived up to its billing, and I would definitely stay there again. It was easy to access my conference hotel (Hyatt Regency), but also easy to access other spots nearby. There are a lot of great restaurants and bars in the area. Most importantly, AaronJB nailed it with the Pittsfield Cafe for breakfast. My roommate (who is originally from NJ) loved the place so much we ate there twice for breakfast, and he wanted to eat there more except we didn't have the time some mornings.

I'm going to meet my girlfriend in Memphis for a weekend, and am trying to find something reasonably priced. I know doing that over Memorial Day weekend is tough, but I found an east Memphis hotel that seems to fit the bill. However, I'd like a bit of help identifying it before booking. I started (as I always do), but searching from the Bidding.Helper and found this: 3-star, $102 per night 95% recommended by Hotwire customers; 4.0/5.0 rating from TripAdvisor Complimentary: Free parking, Free Internet. What do you think chances of getting a room at The James with 2 beds would be? I don't mind sharing, but would prefer my own bed as I'm traveling with a male work colleague.

Yes, I see that the property received 4.5/5.0 from Trip Advisor, but that is simple the guest rating of it. I am going off the 3-star rating that Hot.wire has given the property.

I'm looking for hotel in Chattanooga for 1 night checking in 08/01/14 and checking out 08/02/14. I found 3-star hotel near the border, and wanted help narrowing down the place. $63 for the night. After reading over the mixed reviews on the Millenium Maxwell House I opted for something else. My trip does not require I stay downtown, so I opted for something that puts me closer to leaving town.

I'm trying to identify the 3.5 star hotel in downtown Nashville. I'm staying 6/10 to 6/11. The hotel has a rate of $115 for the dates. Thanks to all the great feedback I got I was able to book this room for a significantly lower price than other sites or even the Holiday Inn website, which listed a rate of $116 plus taxes and fees. I only wish I had booked the room when I initially sought input on identifying the property because I could've saved an additional $10. Regardless of my delay, I got a great deal on a property that appears to be VERY highly rated. As always, thank you to the regulars who helped me figure out the exact hotel.

I apologize for the late post, but ultimately I ended up booking a Fairfield Inn Dayton North through the Marriott site. I paid a total of $66.67 for the room.
