Thank you for your input - I looked up the hotel on Tripadvisor and I believe your guess of the Melrose is correct. It looks like a beautiful hotel, however, I'm going to be patient and wait for a really great deal a little closer to the monuments and such. I have hedged my bets and have a reservation (the kind I could cancel if a really great deal came along) at the Hilton Garden Inn in Arlington for only $109 a night.

Ammenities include restaurant and fitness. It also has a tripadvisor rating on it of 4 out of 5 which I had not seen before. I did not see it on the pinned list, and when I search as a package deal, it does not come up. Any guesses? Apparently Spring Break is a very high season in DC and I have not been able to find any great deals.

This includes breakfast too, but it looks like parking will be $24 Still thrilled with this purchase. Hotel website best deal runs for $169 on this night.

Sorry - I really typed this post too fast. :) $100 is correct - dates are not - we will check out on the 16th, only 3 nights.

Nevermind - I found the answer on the Virginia page. Since this hotel came up on a Washington, DC hotwire search, I posted here instead of Virginia. Next time I will look at both pages first.

This is a past stay, but I did not see this hotel listed yet. $109 for 2 adults, 2 kids (It would have been $30 cheaper without kids) June 1-3, 2005 $259.95 after taxes Amenities included restaurant, pool, fitness center, business center. Wonderful hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. But it also had upgraded down bedding, 400 thread count sheets and a fabulous location along the riverwalk. Parking was $27 per day, but this is normal for this area.
