Very pleased. Had my eye on the Hampton Inn Miami-Coral Gables, but figured I'd try to get a 4* for less than Hampton's quoted rate of $129. My $65 bids put me well under that!

Thanks. Tried again. Went down to 2* @ 62. My priorities are ease of access to the Sheraton Meadowlands and price ($80ish).

Poked around on the board and gathered that $46 and $51 were good starting 3* bids for Newark/Meadowlands. Was denied for Saturday, Oct. 29. Any further advice? I'm attending a function at the Sheraton Meadowlands (E. Rutherford). It's booked.
