  1. Thanks for the response. I'm sorry it was confusing. I really just need 1 room for 3 nights. The first night it will only be two people, but the others it will be 4. A friend just returned from the Venetian and he said security is tight and it might be difficult getting two other people into the room for 2 nights as you need room keys for the elevator. I think I might just have to look elsewhere as I need the quad occupancy.
  2. I need a room for 2 adults 7/10 and 4 adults 7/11-7/13 Hotwire shows 5* (Venetian) for $163 for all 3 nights or $250 for 7/10 (Sat) and $126 other 2 nights No other place beats that price. Quikbook gives $334/$245/$245 for the 3 nights. Venetian.com is $199/night + $70/night for extra 2 adults. Is the hotwire price for double occupancy only? Will I be charged an extra $70/night when I show up? I'm also considering bidding Priceline, but from what I read I need to wait til a week before. Would I have the same problem with the double occupancy? Sorry so many questions. I want to do this right.
  3. Thanks for your help. I knew it wasn't the Wyndham, because that one had come up previously and doesn't have the same icons. The Celebration hotel is in the package section, but clearly marked Boutique. The reviews coming out of the Courtyard lately (via another source) aren't all that great. I guess they have an odor problem. Considering my son has an overactive gag reflex and asthma, I wasn't willing to risk it. Otherwise I thought $33 was a great price. I finally gave up on Hotwire (I'm too chicken to use Priceline) and booked through an online discounter. Got a hotel room with a kidsuite with breakfast for $69/night. I only wish I had found this site a long time ago when I first used Hotwire!
  4. Looking for a last minute deal and I came up with this 4* 9/27-9/30, WDW zone, $79 Amenities: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness Center, *high speed internet access*, Golf nearby, Tennis Nearby, Spa Doesn't match anything in packages, or anything else I've seen. The internet one is what throws me. Any guesses? Thanks!
  5. Thanks for the reply. I had checked the hotel list and hadn't found it on there. I missed the other post you referenced as I read through it fast and thought they had said it was a customer favorite. For $98 it is just not worth the risk. I am going to have to pass and hope that maybe some day someone else will take the risk and help identify it.
  6. 9/26 - 9/30 4* WDW Area - $98 - Amenities: Dining Pool Fitness Golf nearby Tennis nearby Spa No business services is what throws me. Does not match anything in the packages (and I tried all 3 pkg combos) I've searched through several pages of posts here, and nothing matches the description. I've been periodically checking these dates in hopes that Swan/Dolphin comes up. On a side note - if you enter that you have kids with you, your package offerings are severely limited. Enter "0" and you get pages of choices!
  7. When I try a hotel + air pkg for 9/26 - 9/30, I get the Swan as a choice. But when I go to hotel only, the "customer favorite" 4* mentions walking to DTD, so I know this isn't the Swan. Anyone ever seen this before? I've already got air, and would love the Swan. Do I just keep trying?
